PLAY ALONG
"Rikky, we are here" Nate's voice said kaya napabalikwas ako.
Tumawa ito. "Sorry, have you been dreaming?" he looked at me with curiosity.
Napalingon ako sa paligid.
"Nasaan tayo?" I asked.
"Sa parking ng office ko"
Napapikit ako at napahawak ng sentido.
Did It happen again? Akala ko nawala na ang kakayahan kong managinip ng hinaharap.
"Are you ok?" He asked
"Wala pa tayo sa Bicol? Hindi ka pa nagpupunta sa Cebu?" I asked to make sure.
"Did you dream of us, returning to Bicol?" usisa niya
I fished my phone from my bag to scroll on the messages. I looked for Loki's message just to see if it was there--yung offer niyang ma-hack ang system ni Gavin because I was trying to figure which is reality and which is yet to happen from mu dream.
"And how did you know the Cebu thing, anyway?" Naguguluhang sabi pa nito.
"Ah, nandito pa din tayo sa Manila so it was all a dream?" I trailed at hindi na sinagot muna ang tanong niya.
Tumawa na naman ito. "You are acting weird, ok ka lang ba talaga?" Muli ay sabi nito.
"I changed my mind Nate, pwede mo ba akong ihatid kay Loki?" I asked him.
"No need he's here" Turo niya sa sasakyan na nagpark sa tabi namin.
"Ok" I nodded, secretly planning in mind the things that I have to do.
"Nate, ingat ka sa Cebu, dito muna ako sa Manila, may aayusin lang ako. Thankyou for being a good friend" sambit ko.
"How did you know of my transfer in Cebu? Can you atleast answer that? " Naguguluhang sabi nito.
"Actually alam ko din na pupunta ng Bicol ang Ate mo" I smiled at him.
"What? Hindi naman pupunta si Ate doon." he said tapos ay sakto naman na may tumawag sa kanya.
"Hello Ate?" he said.
Oh well speaking of the not so devil.
"What?"
"Ok, ok" he said pero nakatingin na siya sa akin ngayon.
"Bye" he said and focused on my face.
"She'll be transfered to Bicol right?" I asked.
"Rikky, you are creeping the hell out of me" he said at napahawak pa sa dibdib niya.
"Ate Selena just told me she'll be going to Bicol, how did you know it? " tutok ang mga mata niya sa akin.
"I am a clairvoyant" amin ko. Iy was the easiest way to answer him.
"Fucking what?" he said.
"I am a clairvoyant , and just believe me ok?"
Matagal muna niya akong tinitigan then he sighed.
"Ok" sambit nito. Nate is one understanding guy hindi ito nangungulit ng info kung alam niyang hindi magkekwento ang kausap niya.
"Bye Nate sorry hindi na kita ipaghihiganti kay Gavin, I have something to settle" sambit ko at hinalikan siya sa pisngi bago bumaba para puntahan ang nagaabang na si Loki na nakasandig na sa kotse nito.
"I'm going up" Nate said, at nauna na sa building nya matapos itong bumaba sa kotse at tanguan lang si Loki.
"Ya, popcorn?" Loki offered. Kahit kailan may hawak itong popcorn. He looked so settled na parang wala siyang tinatago sa akin.
