"Yeah unknown criminal here, before we jump into the mess here"."Mess?!,your the one who dragged me into this"."Okay okay calm down flower, jeez so emotional, well anyways I,excuse me we would like to introduce ourselves before this madness happens"."Madness huh?,is that what you called it"."What else would I call it,luckiest day of my life"."Your the worst"."Yeah I love you to,anyways I wanna start,so hi there I'm unknown right now hm let's see oh I'm a criminal, being hunted at the moment, also I'm a bit "off the hook" but I think that's about it for now what about you flower"."Umm okay well hi I'm Sofie and I'm an introvert,I work at your local gas station and that's about it"."Sure it is,you'll know more ahead but for now why don't you set the scene of when we met flower"."Stop calling me that, and it all started on one of my late shifts,I'll let the narrator take over"."Oh come on why don't you tell it"."Too much talking".
"Ughhh fine take it over".
Sofie was working her daily late shift, same as always, having people come in already drunk and buying more beer. Sofie was getting irritated of the ones who tried flirting with her. She wasn't the overall best at socializing or flirting, especially when it comes to the drunk ones. After a lot of drunks coming in and out,a strange person walked in that didn't buy beer or flirted with her on the way in. He left to the back so he probably just came in to take a leak so she didn't care. She continued her job and continued hating it.
"That'll he 11.86 sir" she said as she packed a 12 carton of beer in a bag.
"You know you have the prettiest eyes young lady" the drunk said burping in between that.
"Yes sir I've heard that for the 10th time this night, by you" she sighed and gave him a look.
"It's not my fault I'm stating the facts here" he chuckled as he was reaching for his wallet. Suddenly the entire store goes dark and there's silent footsteps and four gunshots. Sofie ducks and tries finding a hiding place.
"What the hell, what happened hey lady you gotta fix this" the man said before another gunshot was heard. The man wasn't talking anymore. Sofie started to panic and slowly tried getting out of the store. As she was about to reach for the handle the lights came back on.
"Stop right there lady", she stopped in her tracks, she was frozen, incapable of doing anything.
"Now turn around", she obeyed and turned around slowly. She looked up at to what she believed a guy by his masculine yet monotone voice. He had an all black fit with a black mask that represented some comic superhero.
"Now you could do two things, stay here and rat me out or die here with the other corpse keeping this entire thing quiet".
"Is there a t-t-third option" she stuttered looking at the floor and then to the corpse and then back at the floor.
"Hmm well let me think of one, you can stand up by the way treat yourself to the store bet you always wanted to do that" he laughed while getting on the counter and started "thinking". She got up still terrified and took this chance to grab herself a water. While getting it her heart and mind raced,
"Is he insane, why is he letting me even stand up, what could his third option be" she thought to herself.
She was interrupted by the guy yelling, "Hey can you get me a soda please, helps my brain get going".
"S-Sure what k-kind" I asked. "Any kind is fine thank you" he answered.
"Little intermission here by Sofie yeah I'm taking over it's fine I think I can tell the story now". "That's my girl whoo". "Shut up,okay intermission over".
I grabbed a random soda from the fridge and walked over to him and gave him his soda while I drank my water. "Nice thanks".
"Your welcome, so did you find that third option" I asked trying to crack a smile.
"Well there is one more option whatever your name is".
"It's Sofie" I answered.
"Oh okay well there is one other option Sofie, but for a price".
"How much" I asked in a snap, I wanted to live and not stay here with that corpse, it already smells.
"Not money wise, but in a price that you help me" he laughed. "Help you" I was confused, why would he need me to help him I think he clearly can handle everything by himself.
"Yeah, you can help me on the road and you know do crime" he said using dumb hand gestures.
"But why me though, why not a professional or something".
"Oh Sofie if only it was that easy ,you see I'm being hunted, it's like a bounty, and any assassin, hacker, or anybody that can be of help can't help you do shit, and if you want to live you better help me."
"I'm bending the rules though aren't I."
"Have you killed anyone" he asked.
"N-No".
"Have you hacked any website".
"I got a free membership on club penguin island" I smiled.
"Yep your definitely not bending the rules here" he smiled and crossed his arms.
"Okay so when do I start?".
"Well you can start by driving me to your place" he requested.
"Wait what ,why not your own car".
"Because at this point they've tracked my car and if I drive it they'll track me down".
"Are you sure your not just making that up" I asked him already regretting this decision.
"Why would I lie to my assistant" he said with a smile. "Is that my name now" I asked with a frown.
"No I would never use that, I would prefer something soft that defines you like flower or something".
"Flower sounds nice" I said smiling. "Great, snow let's get out of here before any cop comes by here and investigates this place". We got in my car and drove to my place, maybe he wasn't an entirely bad person, he just has some screws loose that's all, I hope I'm right otherwise I just made a bad decision ever asking for a third choice.
