"what happened here?" the teacher asks, looking mad at jonah. "jonah randomly pushed me, and he started to hurt me and i only tried to protect myself." jacob says, clearly lying. he is one of the teachers favorites, so the teacher believes him. "that's not true." jonah says. "jacob got mad at daniel, and i pushed him a little too hard." of course, since jonah is the troublemaker, the teacher doesn't believe him. "it's true." you say quick. luckily the teacher does believe it when multiple people say it. then you realise daniel, still sitting on the ground. "are you okay?" you ask and you sit next to him. "no, jacob hit my wrist kinda hard." he says, biting his lip. the teacher brings him to the school docter, and jacob gets detention. jonah and i are allowed to go home, and we decide to go to starbucks together. "today was crazy." jonah says after a long silence. you agree, while drinking your ice coffee. "im kinda worrying 'bout daniel." you say, after you're done with your coffee. "i mean, he really got hurt in the fight." jonah looks at you, also concerned. after starbucks, jonah and you go home. you explain everything to your parents, because you're home early and your parents are okay with that you have a boyfriend. that makes you realise: 'wow, i actually have a boyfriend!' you keep thinking about it the whole day long.
