Amelia's POV

Bryan was right, Shawn will not stop with this and he will surely try to ruin our image and he may even try to stop the wedding. I have to tell him everything that I badly wanted to forget but I have to it's necessary for the future of our so called relationship. Even though I never wanted to share it with anyone other than Lexi Simon and Finn, I felt safe sharing it with him. With closed eyes and images of the past I started telling him. He was closely listening while his eyes closely watched my actions.
" It happened two years ago , I was supposed to present the  man of the match in a football game as the company I was working with was the sponsors for the tournament, as I really liked watching sports I attended it even though I could have cancelled it and one of the things in my life that I badly regret is going to the match. I was out of touch with the game and the current players to the extent that I didn't even know the captain of the country. I saw the match with great interest and noticed jersey number 45 was playing really well, he scored the winning goal for the team and ofcourse he was the man of the match. I was really impressed with his game and was really happy that I was the one to present him with the award. When he came to collect his award was the only time I looked at his features he was really handsome and to my shock he was shaking my hands for more time than required so I cleared my throat which bought him into reality after which he received his award and smiled for the camera and I congratulated him and when I was going back to my car, I saw a figure running towards me so I turned and saw it was the same guy who received the award , so I asked " not returning to party or home after a long winning match". He just smiled and said " who likes to party or rest when he couldn't get the phone number of a beautiful women " I just smirked and said you really don't have an idea about who I am " . He replied" who told , Ms Amelia Williams the ruthless CEO of Amixs consultancy services and is currently single and is one of the main reasons for the sponsors of this tournament , that's what both Google and myself know but I wanted to know something more personal that's why I wanted to go on a date with you for which I require your number" . Shocked was a smaller word for his research on me on a quite a small period and his straight forwardness. I replied" nice try mr. ...... " He responded " Adams ... Shawn Adams , but I prefer you calling me Shawn and I am really heart broken that one of the famous analyst who watched me playing so intensely never tried Knowing my name  as he's the country's captainnor tried searching for me like I did for her but I think you will be forgiven if you come to  my next match"
" so your the captain" I replied looking at his forearm and his captain badge for which he just nodded and I continued speaking why do you think I LL be present at your next match ". He replied " as you would like to present yourself to our second date'" I just really liked his confidence and I felt I saw admiration in his blue eyes . So I took my card and placed in my hands and said " message me about our first date details so that I can get the details about our second date' " with that I walked to my car . We hanged out together and I really liked spending time together and I found ways and methods in which I could spend time with him in my busy schedule and he said that my presence at his match was his reason for his success and I felt like a teenager whenever he kissed me . I started to falling for him as I believed that one day he would start loving me in the same way I did him . Out of the blue one fine day after one of his matches in the winning party he asked me to be his girlfriend before anyone and me being a stupid lover accepted it . It was a like a dream to me I lived and loved every moment and o also made sure that he was the cast for the ad shooting for most of the sport's accessories and shoes except the one's that Simon had signed contracts for and things I believed Shawn won't fit , so that I could spend more time with him . I even managed to tell my parents about him for which they said that they really don't like him and told me to reconsider of having in him in my future . Not only my parents , Lexi did not like him and Simon being the cricket team captain who had heard more information about him wasn't really pleased with him and Finn accepted it just because I was happy other that that he was not happy with Shawn and he really felt something off about him. But nothing affected me as I genuinely liked slash it out loved him and believed that he did love me back and whenever he said he loved me it did sound true to me .I believed that  He was really supportive of me dealing with male business associates but later I realised he never bothered about it . Everything was fine with our relationship but suddenly Shawn began complaining that I never have time for him and me being the love stuck puppy felt really bad and finished my meeting at Sydney and rushed here for his match and thought that he would be happy, he was suprised to see me but he did something suprised not only me but everyone suddenly all the lights of the ground were switched off and only one centre light was focused and Shawn stood one knee and proposed me . I was in cloud nine , how does it feel your first love proposes you that too before everyone .. so with tears in my eyes I accepted it . I was so lovestruck with this as I didn't notice that the media amount was more in number and they were capturing pictures of both of us . I didn't mind it because, we were always on the tabloid and it didn't matter. The winning party turned out to be our engagement party as well . I enjoyed with him and he drunk way too much as he was drunk I drived him to his hotel room , when we arrived there he started forcing him upon me , I thought he is acting as he was drunk and I felt it was not a good idea to stay with him so with huge amount of protest and escaping I laid him on the bed and I went back to my house. As I was thinking of too many things like our wedding, how to convince my late friends. I forgot my phone at his room . I thought of going and taking it but thought that he would be tired and I didn't want him to disturbed and I can take it tomorrow and even spend some quality time with him. I wanted to surprise him so the next morning I asked the hotel management about his stay and me being his fiance and wanted to surprise him and wanted the spare key card ... As the proposal was all over the news the receptionist agreed for it and gave me the key card and I entered silently inside the room and I was the one who wanted him to be surprised but I was astonished he was cuddling naked with one of their Cheerleaders of their team . But I saw that they were talking something so I listened closely to what they were saying with silent sobs . The cheerleader was saying " hey Shawn baby why did you propose that slut when you love me " he went closer to her and replied" I  don't love her sweetheart it's just a show and after I settle well as I can earn a lot of money from her and due to her my public esteem has increased to great heights and I have earned more advertisements after roaming with her . Plus she's too busy to even notice about us " with that he started kissing her and I couldn't bare anything I slid down with silent sobs but my phone started ringing which bought their attention . So I rushed inside the room and took the phone it was Lexi and I silenced the call. Both of them were shocked to see me. I said " sorry to disturb you but I just returned to take my phone, you can carry on." Shawn replied " Mia it's nothing what you look and how did you enter the room" I was furious was an understatement so I marched at him and replied " oh that don't worry I told the receptionist that I am your fiance which no longer I am one " as I removed the ring with which he proposed me and throwed it one his face and started speaking again don't you say it's nothing I heard whatever you said to her and I know that I am nothing more than a ATM machine, I was so wrong about you , never ever again show me your face again to me " when I was about to move he holding his Blanket with one hand to cover him up And the other pulling my wrist towards him . He started talking" oh great Mia I don't need to pretend now , what can I do it's your fault, you never had time for me and left me with a boner and what can I do when girls prettier than you come begging for me , I am also a man with desires and you better get this straight into your head we are getting married and you are still providing me with everything that you use to provide me and more and I will stop sleeping with other when you started to warm my bed and don't even try moving away from me because you can't and I won't let you." With that he left my hands so I didn't wait to reply him I went home and informed Lexi about it . She took care of the engagement being officially cancelled and PR issues. I stayed home all time it took me more time to get around the facts and my friends stayed with me helping me come back and I came back stronger and stopped being the stupid girl I was and my business decesion reflected them that's why I was called one of the ruthless CEO. Shawn stayed by his words he never stopped following me and giving a look that he was the good guy in the relationship. Finn being protective friend tried all ways to stop him and ended up being in tabloids for hitting him and they were stories that I dumped Shawn for Finn and my PR departure took care of everything with help of Lexi and Simon being the cricket captain tried everything he could do but nothing stopped Shawn. I even tried getting a order from him as there was no evidence of him being threat to me I couldn't . I placed body guards for his sake but he did manage to irritate me through various ways like today . Bryan looked at me with a fisted hand he asked me " do you still love him " . I replied instantly no I will never . He replied then let's kick his ass together. I just looked at him suprised and with a smile that turned to laughter , he answered for my unasked question " you are going to be wife and anyone who troubles you has to go through me and I also wanted to convey that I am known for my player profile but I will never ever cheat anyone " . I don't understand but it felt really comforting and nice to hear it from his mouth . So I just nodded. When he was ready to talk something else , Lexi arrived and said " Finn is alright and let's go home we have a meeting with the Cullen industries on Monday and we have to prepare for it ". When I was to go away Bryan started speaking and Lexi looked at him " Amy I am really sorry what happened with Shawn and hmmmm good night . See you at office on Monday " I replied good night Bryan and see you on Monday. With that we left for my car and when she was driving she asked " did you just tell him everything" . I just nodded and expected her to go all wild and start scolding me but all she replied was " ok good " . I was stunned at looked at her and she was still driving and looking at long line road. I was really tired thinking about Shawn , Bryan and the wedding and the greatest thing I have to tell my family about the marriage. By the angel I am going to be personally killed by my mom'with questions tomorrow. God please help me . With that thought I went into a deep sleep.
