Secrets (5SOS FanFiction)

Chapter 1

"Ok. We're almost done. It's almost time to see if we win this goddamn contest." My best friend Camila says as she enters the last details of information for a contest entry to win a "magical lunch date" with 5sos, aka 5 seconds of summer.

We've been in the 5sos fam ever since the beginning. I'd say that's a pretty long time. We've entered plenty of contests to meet them but we've had no luck. So this is just another contest.

We've been to one little mini concert a long time ago but that's the only time we've seen them in person. If one of us does anything that involves 5sos, the other one is somehow involved.

"Done." She says, as she closes the laptop.

"Finally, why did that take so long?" I asked, curiously.

"Well I'm not sure exactly, but it's done. So that's all that matters." She smiled and nudged my shoulder.

"Well, I guess now we wait." I smile and fall down onto the plush pillows beneath me. I release a deep breath and Camila does the same.

We look at each other and I grab her hand. She smiles and my eyes slowly close.

I woke up to Camila's phone ringing. I reached my hand over and hit her arm. "Camila. Camila wake up." I sit up and look at her phone. It's an anonymous number.

"Camila! I think it's them!" She immediately sits up right when I say that and answers the call.

"Hello?!" She puts it on speaker.

"Is your refrigerator running?" We hear what sounds like an 11 year old boy say as he giggles.

She stares at me and just hangs up. She just lays back down, as do I.

"UGH I just want to marry them and then I'll be happy with my life." She says as she drifts back to sleep.

I still have my eyes open as I come up with plenty imagines of us winning and one of them falling for me at the lunch until Camila's phone rings again.

"I don't wanna answer it. It's probably that dumb 4 year old again." Camila mumbles under her pillow.

"Fine. I will answer because I am the good citizen in this situation." I say as I reach over and grab her phone.

"Yes my refrigerator is running and I will catch it. Goodbye." I say as I hear Camila giggle.

"Wait wait! Don't hang up!" Their accent is Australian all of a sudden. it's the same number, but maybe different people?

"Um, yeah?" I say as calm as possible even though I know for a fact it's Ashton.

I start crying and Camila sits up and puts her ear to the phone.

"Yeah sorry we got you pissed or whatever, we were just bored and calling random people who put their numbers. I'm guessing you know it's me since I can hear you crying." Camila puts her hand on her mouth and looks like she's about to faint while I'm just in shock that 1) we were pranked by 5sos, and 2) we are talking to Ashton Irwin.

"Yeah no it's totally cool, can I just ask, are you all there?" I finally put the phone on speaker so Camila could hear.

"Yeah we're chilling in our hotel room going through all the entries. What're you doing?" I wonder if he actually cares as I answer.

"Well we just got woken up by what sounded like 11 year olds prank calling us but you know..."

I heard him giggle as Camila took the phone from me. I stand up to get tissues as I hear Camila trying to stay calm as she casually chats with Ashton Irwin.

It's been at least 3 hours since they first called and we've taken turns talking to all of the boys. I'm still in complete shock and I can tell Camila is too.

"Well I guess it's time to tell you girls that you won the contest and we will give you more details later." We hear him laugh his adorable loud laugh and then the three beeps indicating that the call has ended.

Me and Camila look at each other and just scream. We scream very loud and hear Camila's mom coming up the stairs. We're both sobbing when she enters the room.

"Are you girls okay?!" She asks, worried.

"Mom, 4 boys of our dreams just called us and we had a real conversation for over 3 hours and now we're going on a lunch date with them so no mother, we are not okay."

"Oh um okay. Do you need a ride?" She looks shocked, but not like our kind of shocked, but I think she's shocked at how Camila told her.

"No it's ok mom Autumn can drive us. Love you!" She said as her mom exited.

"Camila?"

"Yes Autumn?"

"This is actually happening."

"I know. It hasn't hit me yet." She said as she started giggling. We hug and just stay there for a couple of minutes before we plot out ways that we can make them fall for us.
