Welcome To The Games

            A man stood on top of an old watch tower, too thin to have an open space inside. The man wore a strange outfit-to those whom had never seen him- the outfit consisted of some sorts of robes, all varying in sizes and colors, yet his chest laid exposed. He had dark green eyes and hair of white, probably from old age; seemed to be of German descent. Fair skin and a fairly built torso covered by a visible amount of sweat shone in the dim lighting. A grin appeared on his prominent features and the man inhaled deeply, raised his right arm and opened his mouth.

"Welcome one, welcome all! Welcome to Die Frenzy Spiele!"

Chaos erupted from hundreds -no, thousands- of spectators; some were applauding, others chanting and even screaming their lungs out. All different from one another, none looked the same.

"Where hundreds were chosen, but only a few will make it to the top!"

Different ethnicities, sizes, shapes and colors.

"How many will thrive? How many will suffice? Who will you bet on?!"

               Yet all with the same goal. 

"Who will make it to the top? Who will be crowned the victor; the Champion of Frenzies!"

The uproar continued, growing louder with each passing second.

The middle of the floor began to open, a giant ring rising and settling where the floor used to be. The crowd grew wild.

There, inside the giant ring, stood no less than a hundred humans, men and women alike. Some younger than others, but none as young as a child. Teens, young adults and fully grown men and women all stood in the middle, like rats trapped inside a cage wanting to be set free.

                     If only they knew...

             What awaits them, -their fate-

                it's not to be taken lightly.

       If only, if only they had a chance...

The man in the strange robes grinned once more.

"It has begun."

Well this is the first chapter, its more like a prologue. Sorry if it's short, I plan to make the following chapters longer. I just thought this ending for the first chapter was perfect.
