Chapter 1: Tics and Terror

  It was early I hadn't slept in a while ever since the incodent with Tal, I have been on red alert, it, seemed like every single thing could go wrong. 

Morello, hasn't slept either, but that's really no surprise, she hadn't slept in a while. Coffee is what's been keeping her up. I have been extremely tempted throw out her coffee supply...But, she would somehow find my finals week stash. 

 As for  Teg, well he's been a little scared I don't blame him  honestly, I can see why he would be he saw some of his friends knocked out and Tal, was a really scary person.  

I noticed Morello was looking at me 

"What's, wrong sis?"

"You need to sleep just saying" she said as she sipped from her mug

"I'll sleep when you guys are 100 percent ok, before that I won't, I don't need someone having something bad happen because I was asleep, do I make any sense?" I said, in a angry assuring tone.

"Sure? I guess you do..." She took another sip and washed her Mug in the sink and put it, away 

Morello, walked into her room and came out in a more casual outfit and left. 

I decided not to question it, just so I don't make her, mad again. last time was a nightmare, pun not intended I swear.

I heard a door open upstairs and small foot steps,  A tired Teg, poked from upstairs and sat, down on the couch. 

"Morning Hun, how are you?" I said warmly as I walked over to him 

"Meh, I mean, I'm still having trouble sleeping and my arm hurts. But That's, really it. How about you Milo, anything, new at all?" Teg asked.

I shrugged I didn't, really know how I was though. Ever since Tal, nothing really   Mattered but the safety of my roommates, that's all that mattered at all honestly I don't care how I feel I really never did not since I got my reality check in fifth grade.

A few hours passed Teg, and I relaxed it, was nice later he went back upstairs to sleep I told him to call me if he needed anything. 

I heard the door open and looked back it was A really tierd Virgil, he must've just been able to leave early. Although he also got hurt he had decided to not, only help himself but take care of Remy, and Roman, as well.  

"Woah, hard day with them today?"

Virgil sighed "Oh, not much just I had to listen to the two of them fight, like half of the time."  he yelled "Yes It was hard!"

I kinda took like this Dad facade and looked at, him and spoke: "Now Virgil,  if you are tiered which you do seem like it, you may go to bed." I laughed.

Virgil gave me a thumbs up and went upstairs and into his room. 

I quietly started to think, Where's Mori? She's been gone for a while now. It's probably something else I just thought I'm just being protective is all, she'll be ok I told myself. I decided to go in my room and work on something to pass the time. I felt twitchy, I don't know why or how, I didn't  drink anything with caffeine. I just was stressed, that's why I was twitching no...it wasn't Twitching even, I was getting a muscle tic.  They started to happen more often, since what  happened in the fight with Tal, I don't know maybe It's, part of trauma, maybe it, isn't I might not ever figure it out.

I heard a knock, on my rooms door and shot out of my seat to go see who it, was Morello.

"Mor,! Where were you? I was starting to worry."I said in a worried tone the fear wasn't hidden in my voice 

"I was at the book store...why? Something happened?" Morello sounded worried now, which wasn't ideal or what I wanted to happen.

I had shaken my head "No nothing, happened don't, worry..."

Morello looked at me "Milo, please go to bed you seriously can't, keep staying up and burning the candle at, both ends." 

I sighed "And I've, told you before, I will sleep, when you guys are 100 percent ok until than I'm staying up..." 

Morello stared at me in a confused way "I don't get it Milo, why do you insist on staying up now?" 

I looked back at her "because I can't sleep...Tal, has been haunting me in my dreams and I can't deal with that ok...Look I'm sorry you guys got hurt but I need to be here incase someone is having trouble, and it's nice your ok really, but I need to be here if one of you guys aren't."

Morello looked away and sighed as she smiled, "You always did act older than your age, jeez..."  She walked into her room and as she passed me she hugged me. 

"Mori, wait I need to tell you something..." I decided I should tell her finally. 

"What is it?" She looked at me I knew I had her attention.

"Teg, and I we um, we are s-sorta, dating..." I blearted out quickly.

"Yeah, I could sorta tell Milo, it wasn't hard to guess..." She admited.

"Wh-How?" I was shocked.

"You guys cuddle and flirt too much." She said. 

"Fair point yeah, I get it." I shrugged 

Morello went to her room and I decided to go check on Teg just to make sure he's alright I sat next to him and made sure if he started to act or kove weirdly to remind him "it's, ok Tal's gone don't worry your ok." It usually helped him out but if not I just kiss his cheek to try to help. 

The day seemed pretty good I didn't get any attacks. And I really only had a few tics but I knew it wouldn't end that easily. Teg slightly shook me It scared me but I knew it wasn't for something bad only because it was Teg trying to ask for a hug so.
