Eliza Smith had recently moved into a new house with a large forest behind it. One day Eliza went exploring in the woods. Hours passed and her parents began to worry as darkness was approaching. They called and called with no reply. She never came home. Eliza’s mother and other members of the community searched for weeks on end until they came across a swing found in the center of the woods. Seated on the swing was a favorite stuffed bunny of Eliza’s. Pinned to the bunny was a note which read, “Eliza dear, she held no fear, as she tumbled down below. She ran, She fought, but all for naught, as she will never be seen again.” The police began searching for her body only for months to pass with no luck.  They barricaded the woods off  and posted signs of no trespassing hoping to keep others away. For a few months it worked. Until a teen named Ryan was brave enough to venture in the woods on a dare. The teens mother then received a similar note reading,” Ryan was fun, but the game has just begun. He is soon out of time, if only he could climb. Goodbye Ryan.” The police again began to search for a body but came up dry. The police cut down the swing hoping the culprit would move on. The swing disappeared from the evidence locker the same night it was cut and was hanging again on the branch of the tree the next morning with another note. This one read,” Swing, Swing, Chop, Chop. Missing another Child? Swing, Swing, Chop, Chop. You won’t hear from him for a while.” The next day the Sheriff discovered there was unfortunately another child missing. His name was Kyle Mason. The next week was full of searching the woods and town hoping to find some clue. Kyle turned up the following Friday, exactly one week since his disappearance. Kyle had cuts, bruises, and burns all over his body and was taken to the hospital. Kyle was so traumatized all he kept repeating was "must keep swinging, must keep swinging..."
