S A M S   P O V

   i woke up and went downstairs. my mom was making breakfast, so i sat down. "how's it going with noel? have you talked to her?" my mom asks.  "i still can't bring myself to mom, especially with her boyfriend always around."

   i eat my breakfast talking to my mom about school and other nonsense. i decide to go upstairs and start to get ready. i put on my black ripped jeans and a billabong t-shirt. then i put on my vans. i can't wait to see her today.

i walk through the school hallway and i don't spot noel. she usually get's here early. and of course since noel isn't here, there are a mob of girls surrounding luke. i look at him with anger, how does a braindead douche get a girl like noel? she deserves me, i'm smart and at least i care about my grades. luke will be braindead from football soon enough. he's suffered a couple concussions before.

    i want to see noel. she wasn't there at lunch. maybe she was absent. but that's not her. she's a good girl, she gets the perfect attendance award every year. my friend nick comes up to me and asks if i heard the news. i shake my head confused, "what news?"  " noel and luke broke up, she found him cheating! it's your time bro, go get your girl."

   my heart broke for her. i feel so bad for noel. my baby that isn't my baby shouldn't feel that way. i know lots about noel even though she barely knows me, but i'm not full stalker mode. i don't know where she lives. i decided i was going to bring her some comfort foods and see how she's doing.

   in order to get her address, i had to go to the office and make up an excuse to why i needed it. i simply said it's because we are partners for a project. i walked into target and got a bunch of candy. i made sure to get gummy worms, because they are her favorite. i also got her a pink drink from starbucks. she always comes into school drinking one.

    i go to her house. i contemplate going in. what if she thinks im weird. i go in. i needed to man up. i rang her doorbell and not even 3 seconds later, she opens the door. the love of my life, standing not too far from me. her beautiful blonde hair in a messy bun. i speak up and say "i heard about your breakup, here you go." i fiddle with my fingers.

   "thank you sam, your too sweet." her eyes looked swollen she's been crying. but the other question is that how she knows my name. i hug her tight and she hugs back. god this made me feel alive. i pull away and say "have a goodnight."

  she responds with "goodnight sam." and shuts her door. i jump up excitedly as i jog to my car. this is the best day ever. i just can't believe it.

   i wake up and get ready with excitement. if she's there today, i'll talk to her. i get ready extra careful today and make sure i look the best i can. i get into my audi and get to school. i even got there early today so i can see her.

   i walk in and there she is. with luke. they are back to being the iconic couple they are. they walk the halls, making everyone part away. i watch them the whole day. up in my head im her boyfriend, but thats one thing she already has.
