Mimi and John stood in the guitar shop they had gone to once before. John stared at the guitar he wanted, before taking it down and going back to his spot next to Mimi.

"Can I get it Mimi?" He asked. He knew that it wasn't going to happen, since he's been with Mimi for a week now.

"How much is it?" She asked the clerk who had just walked over.

"15 pounds." Mimi tensed at his words. John did too.

"I believe its worth more like 10, right John?" She looked at John, her facial expression making him nod.

"We'll pay 10." She looked back up at the clerk and smiled. The clerk cleared his throat, rather uncomfortable. The guy knew about Mimi, especially the little troublemaker John.

"Deal." He responded, Mimi opening her wallet and giving the pounds. John smiled widely, looking at his guitar in amazement. This beauty was his. He can finally get a head start in whatever he was about to stir up. The two walked out of the store, John holding it with such care, Mimi felt like it was impossible. The two walked back to Mendips, joking and bantering around.

They walked through the front doors and John ran into his room, thanking Mimi yet again for the guitar. Mimi watched him go, her smile enough to warm up a room. If he kept up his grades, he can keep it. She wouldn't want to see John that upset if she ever took it away from him. She couldn't help but smile wider when she heard his strumming from upstairs, and she emptied the brown bag of groceries she got, mostly things she had forgotten the first time.

John was upstairs, strumming on his new guitar. He smiled like a little kid and played the chords Julia taught him, strumming the way she taught him as well. He progressively played louder and louder, before being told by Mimi to turn it down a touch. He obeyed, beyond thankful that he had gotten the guitar.

John walked into the boys bathroom the next day at school, finding a few of his mates.

"Who wants to be in a band?" He said, smiling and holding a cigarette in his mouth. He finally got people to join, walking out satisfied. Robyn was walking down the hallway, talking to one of her friends. She caught eyes with John, her expression unamused as they stared into each others eyes. She put on her sunglasses and kept walking away. What was she on about?

John simply went to his classes, and once the school bell rang, he fought to get out of the school as quick as possible. He caught a glimpse of Robyn, already out of the school and headed towards her house. He stopped running and walked by her.

"Hey there." He said, catching his breath. Robyn looked at him with her sunglasses on and looked away.

"Nice to see you Lennon." She replied, her tone salty. What on Earth is she mad about?

"Whats wrong?" He asked, his tone a little sarcastic as he slung his arm around her shoulders.

"Weird seeing you at school is all." She sighed, patting his leg twice. John chuckled with a scoff.

"Its weird seeing meself at school, Robbie." He laughed, before squeezing her shoulder. Something told him that she wasn't upset about that alone.

"Do you wanna head over to Mendips and see my new guitar?" He asked, smiling brightly. Robyn looked at him, her expression surprised.

"Mimi bought it for ye?" She asked, absolutely astonished. It surprised her beyond her wits. John nodded proudly.

"I'll play ya a song." John said, his voice sing-songy. He studied her expression, as she looked away in thought.

"Sure." She replied, pulling off her sunglasses. She looked back up at him.

"Sounds cheery." He said, kissing her cheek.
