i walk into the halloween party. ballerina by belly was blasting through the house. the smell of alcohol makes me cringe. sweaty bodies grinding, dancing, kissing. i look for noel. i spot a blonde wearing a tight red dress, devil horns, and red heels. she turns around, and there she is. noel. she looked... i don't even have words to describe this level of perfection and beauty. she looks like a goddess everyday, but this...

she was so angelic, the way she danced, her hips swayed to the music. many guys came up and tried dancing with her. she denied, maybe it was the fact that she was so hurt, or she had the 'i hate every male' mentality. but i don't think noel would be like that, she is too kind. her words that she spoke had never hurt a soul. she was caring, and sweet. nobody could ever be harmed by her.

i stood in the corner of the house dancing alone, like the dork i am. i watch noel and she starts walking over to me. she must be going to talk to someone else, or she's just totally buzzed. she walks up and says "hey sam." she smells sober and seems normal. this must be fake or a dream am i dreaming?

i respond with "hey." we talked all night. we were sitting on a couch nearest to the front door. this weird kid named, maybe edward, i don't know his name. he's pretty weird. he came up and asked noel to come dance with him. noel responded with "maybe in a little bit edward, i'm having a conversation right now." then gave her smile, that would make any boy fall in love.

he said "no just come with me, noel you know i love you." i laugh. the kid gives me a stare like he's going to kill me. aha.

noel says "in a bit edward." then smiles.

he walks away angry. i say "what a freak." maybe a little bit too loud. he turned around and looked at me. noel says "hey don't say that." i brushed it off.

people might say i am a freak for being obsessed with noel, i say it's deeply in love. i've talked to her before, i went to elementary and middle school with her. i was just always in the shadows. but that kid edward is a freak, i wonder why noel knows what his name is. i'm suprised she even knows mine.

noel and i talked all night long, she never left my side. i offered her a ride home. i drove her home. i kissed her goodnight, i had the balls to do it finally. she kissed back and she smiled. "goodnight sam." she smiles and walks to her front door. i wait to make sure she got in safely and she did. after that i drove home and was the happiest man on earth.
