Jasey sat bored in a meeting wanting nothing but for it to end. Her mother and uncle who also happened to be her manager were in deep conversation discussing her upcoming tour for her album ‘Skyline’. It was to be her second tour except this one was a world tour. The tour dates hadn’t been confirmed but her team had discussed what locations she was performing at. Jasey loved the idea of travelling around the world to see different places and meet new people. It was something she’d always wanted to do ever since she was a little girl. She had never been on a world tour before but her pop star boyfriend Justin Bieber was currently in the middle of his second one and she was lucky enough to go with him occasionally when the distance got too much for them. Scooter adored them both and found it hard to say no to them.

Jasey Rae Taylor was a talented young woman. For 18 she had one hell of a voice on her. Her mother claimed it was an angel’s voice that God had given her to share good messages. She was a holy person who had great belief in God and Jasey followed in her footsteps.

Her beauty was another gift from God. Even though she had a slim frame, her curves never ceased to look bad on her and at the right height of 5ft6, she could still get away in heels that didn’t make her taller than Justin. Her hair was a light brown that looked like a waterfall the way it fell down her back and everyone who knew her envied her hair and the way her beautiful blue eyes dominated the room. She was truly beautiful, inside and out. She had a kind and old soul, who knew what she was talking about and most people believed that was why she was so popular in the industry. She always tried to relate and understand a person’s story before judging them so it was hard not to like her.

She had been signed right before her seventeenth birthday which was September 8th,2011. Her Uncle had watched her sing at school concert and begged to have her signed. Scooter was new to the music industry but had quite a lot of experience with her first artist, Justin Bieber.

She shot to stardom with her first single ‘Gold’ which was followed by a number one album called Shining Lights. Soon, she was the talk of the music industry and her fan base developed rapidly. Her fans called themselves ‘Rae’s’; simple but cute. She met Justin to sing a duet with him, Beautiful it was called, for her album and that’s where their relationship grew. They had been dating for nearly two years and loved each other very much. Justin believed that she was the one and didn’t want anyone else.

After boredom had overgrown her, Jasey stood up and pleaded Scooter and her mom to let her leave. They agreed and warned her not to go too far since she had no security. Nowadays it was virtually impossible to go anywhere without being spotted. On a good day though, she could through up her hood and slip on some sunglasses and walk around with only a small amount of people noticing her. Luckily it was a nice day so she decided to go for a stroll in the park across the road. Of course she had to attempt to stay disguised so she slipped her hood up and slid her ray bans over her eyes before continuing her text to her best friend Miley. They had met through Justin and immediately clicked.

As she walked through the park, her head stayed down as her eyes focused on her iPhone. It was a blissful October afternoon. Jasey always loved autumn so she tried to get out as much as possible but it was hard. What fascinated her were the leaves; she loved walking through forests and hearing her feet crunch over them, admiring the rusty colour to them or seeing them camouflage the pavements. Justin would playfully tease her about her obsession but she knew he was joking. It was what they did; they fought like children but always laughed about it in the end. She quickly texted Justin wishing him good luck for his show that was due to start in ten minutes, if she calculated it correctly. He was touring in Asia but Jasey was too busy to visit. It was hard but the long distance made their relationship stronger. Before every show, Jasey always texted Justin wishing him good luck and Justin did the same. It was tradition to them. They had done it ever since the day Justin asked Jasey to be his girlfriend.

She kept walking until she felt the slightly colder. When she looked up, she realized that she had reached the ‘run down’ side of the park. It was tucked at the back near a small forest. It was littered more than the rest of the park and vandalised with all different types of graffiti. Jasey had nothing against graffiti, she admired it. All the young youths who wanted to cause trouble hung about there. Apparently, the police had been called several times due to disturbances from there.

She decided to turn back. The place gave her the creeps. Although just as she did, she felt hands on her waist. She tried to scream but a gloved hand covered her mouth as she was dragged away. She shook violently as her heart dropped to her feet. Her phone fell from her hand and she was thrown in the back of van. Jasey thrashed about and screamed much to the strangers’ annoyance. What was happening? Was this some sort of sick joke? How much danger was she in? There was a man driving with three in the back with her all dressed in the same black outfits with their faces covered too as if they were going to rob a bank. Her head banged and she struggled to breathe in such a panicked situation. The three men conversed quickly between themselves in another language that Jasey didn’t understand. Before she could do anything else, something was jabbed into her arm and she fell unconscious within seconds.

And that’s where the nightmare began.
