Hey. Short introduction before the story. This book is called Fantasy for now because I couldn't think of anything better.(thank you purpleconverse.haha!) This is not a fantasy book however. This is a romance. Hope you like it! Vote for me if you do and send me a message to tell me if I should keep writing or not. Here it goes....

Fantasy

"Sam? Sam? Earth to Sam!" I heard my name and looked up from my paper. "Huh?" I said sort of dumbly. "She lives!" Whispered my best friend Clint. I looked around and took in where I was. Apparently I was in math class and I was" doing math problems" on my paper. Actually, I was scetching random things.

I looked over at Clint. He was looking at my drawings. I looked down at them too. I had drawn music notes, horses, more music notes, and more horses. " I should have known." He said. I smiled and put the paper back into my binder. The bell was going to ring soon anyway. I packed all of my things up and gotready.

Dong, Dong, Dong

Yes! 5th period is over! I thought to myself. Clint and I walked out of the classroom quickly. "Bye kids! See you tomorrow!" Mrs. Goodall, ourmath teacher, called after us."Bye!" I called over my shoulder.

Our next class was advanced band (Wind Ensomble). "Finally!" I sighed. "You've only been waiting for 5 periods Sam." Clint said, quickening his step so that he could keep up with me. "Yeah, I know, but for some reason I'm really excited today." I said. "Yeah. I've noticed." He said with a smile.

Now, let me set this straight here at the beginning. I am not secretly in love with Clint. Don't even start to think that. He's my best friend and we've known eachother since we were able sit up sort of thing.

We walked into the band room and went to the locker room, saying hi to people we knew on the way.

Once we got to our lockers we put our backpacks down and started to unlock our locks. I took out my trombone case while next to Clint took out his trumpet case.We put our instruments together and I put away my case. I grabbed my backpack and went out to my seat.

Once I was in my seat I took out my black band binder that I kept all of my music in. Clint sat down next to me and put his band folderon the music stand in front of him.(Clint sits next to me because he is 3rd trumpet and I'm 1st trombone. We didn't choose our seats.)

The powerpoint beeped totell us that the warm-up was about to start. Mr. Garett, our band director, had made this power point so that it would automatically go through our warm-ups. ( In all we have a band of 23 players, and if you are a band person then you know that 23 players isn't very many band members.)

Once, we were done with the warm-ups, the announcements page came up.

"Can you belive that the concert is next Tuesday?" I asked Clint while we waited for Mr. Garrett to come out of his office. "Yes and no. I mean, we have our songs down but, I don't think it's next Tuesday." He said, fiddling with his trumpet. "It is! Look! It says so on the slide!" I said, pointing at the screen.

He looked and his eyes sort of widened. "Holy cow. Already? Man. Ok." He said. I laughed. Mr. Garrett came out then and we stopped talking.

"Alright. So, as you can see, we have our autumn concert next week. Teusday, October 19, at 6:30 P.M." I looked at Clint meaningfully. He smiled but kept his eyes on Mr. Garrett.

"You need to be here, in the band room, at 5:30. If you want to stay after school instead of going home and then coming back, then you can. You might want to bring a snack of some kind though because your going to be here until 7:00." Mr.Garrett started answering questions then.
