The King Of Beasts

"This child is the most dangerous animal on this planet"

David heard these words, but they were muffled. He had thoughts running through his head at a million miles an hour but stopped on one

-child? I'm not a child-

His vision became slightly more clear as he saw a white roof, he looked down at himself to see a much smaller body than he remembered having.

"And why is that Mr. Wu?"

He kept thinking to himself

"Because he has abilities of no other animal, at his most powerful state he takes the appearance of a human T-rex"

He quickly realized what was happening, this wasn't real. It was a dream, or more specifically, a memory

Before he could think any more the two near him acknowledged him

"He's awake, sedate him again"

That's all he heard before everything faded to nothing.

He quickly woke up in the real world to see himself chained to a wall with heavy chains, he took a moment and looked around to see Zia with her back to him. He looked ahead of him to see soldiers packing up various equipment, he looked back at Zia and realized she was chained to a cage that Blue was walking around in

"Psst" Zia shot her head around to see David waving his hand slightly with a small grin. She tried to hug him but was stopped by her chain

She sighed before looking at him again "you're finally awake! Your one hell of a heavy sleeper"

He laughed as Henry Wu started commanding a man to get a kit, on closer inspection he could see it was Franklin. He was surprised but also saw that Franklin had no idea what was happening and didn't want to be there.

His train of thought was interrupted when Wu came to the room he and Zia were in. He looked at David before looking at Zia "I need her blood"

Zia motioned to the cage "go ahead"

Wu turned around "where is that kit?!" He turned back to Zia "look, it's better if you cooperate with me"

Zia looks at him with a slight smirk "her blood's contaminated"

Wu scoffed "I designed her myself, she's pure. Every-"

"T-rex blood does amazing things"

Wu looked over at the source to see David smiling "just like it did me"

Before he could respond Davids' pupils became slits before he ripped out his chains from the wall, he swept Wu off his feet which caused him to slam into the ground on his back before Franklin jumped on top of him and stabbed his neck with a syringe.

Wu passed out as David ripped the other chain out and pulled them off his wrist, he finished up and saw Franklin freeing Zia from her own restraints. When he was done Zia thanked him before running and hugging David

He made an audible 'oof' sound but smiled as he hugged her "nice to see you too"

She nodded "it really is"

He chuckled but let her go as she did the same, before anything else could happen two guards came in with taser sticks.

"Don't move" he activated his taser as the other one dragged away Wu into another room "step away from the cage" David looked at the cage and back at him

He quickly dashed to the cage and ripped off the door before throwing it at the guard's feet, knocking him on the ground as Blue got out. She looked over and then to the guard before she walked up to him, he cried out but was silenced by her eating him.
