It had been way over a year since Katsuki had found out that Izuku was quirkless. The two were in the 4th grade, and they never left each other's side, no matter what. But Izuku still had no idea how to stand up for himself, and Katsuki had an anger, so things weren't always sunshine and rainbows.

"HA! You'll never be a hero! You're quirkless! HAHA!!! YOU"RE SUCH A LOSER!!!" The young boy cried as he listened to the words his classmates were yelling. He didn't know how to handle it or what to do. Even if it happened often. "OI!" Everyone turned to face the cause of the sound. The male who had been taunting Izuku was suddenly on the ground, clothing slightly burnt. "What the hell dude?" The blonde only seemed to get angrier at his comment. "What the hell? REALLY? TELLING SOMEONE THEY CAN'T BE A HERO, AND INSULTING THEM LIKE THAT ARE TRAITS OF A VILLAIN  YOU BASTARD!!!" The next thing anyone knew was that there was a lot of smoke and the sound of someone in pain. "Next time. Don't think before you act, just back off."

And with that, the two boys were gone.

"T-thank you Kacchan..." the greenette whispered. "Oi, you can't let them get to you, you're gonna be a great hero, whether you believe it or not." The smaller of the two smiled, and hugged his best friends arm. "Maybe, but I won't be unless you're there by my side Kacchan!" despite how much the blonde would deny the fact, he smiled at his friend. It wasn't a regular occurrence, as the boys' face was usually covered by a scowl, but it was moments like these where Izuku knew, that the two of them would be friends forever, no matter how cheesy it sounded. They wouldn't leave each others side no matter what happened.

Years had past, and the two boys were now in 7th grade. Things were... different than before. The friends had never left each others side..... but this is where their story really begins.

"Kacchan, I'm bored." the small male said. "So? Whaddya want me to do about it?" A certain angry blonde replied. "Ugh, why can't we go out or something?"  The two were currently laid out on a small couch in the Bakugou's household. Kastuki was resting his head on the couch's' arm while Izuku was laying  upside down over Katsuki's legs. (AN- Basically they're being unknowingly gay  <3  )  "The hag said we should stay here until she got back from the store.... why not? Let's go." The taller male pushed Izuku off of him as he stood up and stretched his arms. "Ugh, really Kacchan? Whatever. Hurry up." The Greenette brushed himself off as he made his way over to the door and put on his shoes. The two left the house and started walking to who knows where. 

"Kya~ It's so nice out Kacchan!" The blonde grunted in response. "I guess. Thankfully it's not cold."  Izuku laughed, the two were currently at a small park not that far from Katsuki's house. "Kacchan! Push me." The boy in question grumbled but got up and walked to the swings where Izuku was swinging his legs. "You asked for it." Katsuki pushed the smaller male hard, adding a small explosion with it. "Kya!!! Kacchan!!!!" Izuku laughed. The two stayed at the park for a few hours talking and laughing with each other...... You've probably noticed the two acted quite differently near each other than what you remember... but that wasn't the only thing that had changed.

Izuku was no where near as built as Katsuki, but he definitely had some muscle to him. The latter could scare off anyone with a glare, but when someone hurt Izuku, they wouldn't get a warning, unless the boy told Katsuki off of course. He was the only that could make him listen to reason, but you'd rather see what i mean, wouldn't you?

The boys were about to head back to Bakugou's house, when someone stopped them. "Oh look guys! it's the quirkless wanna-be and his petty little friend! Why do you think they even hang out? I bet the loser has dirt on him." Izuku froze dead in his tracks, as did Katsuki. "The hell you say?" The latter growled. "You heard me! Hahaha!!!! They're so pathetic i doubt they'll ever be heroe-" The boy cut off when a hand was suddenly around his throat. "I suggest you stop talking." But the reason the group of bullies had stopped, wan't because there was a hand around their leaders throat... but because it was Izuku's hand. 

"I-I- Ug- "  Izuku released his grip on the other. "Now, to be clear." He walked up to the boys face and stared him dead in the eyes, "I'm more likely to be a hero than any of you. With that personality, you have to knock others down to feel good about yourself. That's not a hero's trait now is it? Not to mention, bulling is probably a huge cause for someone to be a villain, and what kind of hero would you be if you were the reason for a villain? Now, you can go and think about what i just told you..... and back off. Kay?" He walked back to Katsuki who wore a smug grin on his face, most likely enjoying the shock and fear the radiated off the group of bullies. "C'mon Kacchan, your mom might get worried if we stay out here for much longer, let's go." The friends walked away, back to the Bakugous' household with grins on their face.
