Dianne was awoken suddenly as the door banged open, a very drunk Joe walking into her hotel room.

"Go."
"Wha- Wha- What Di?"

He slurred his words so much that she was simply disgusted by him. She didn't even want to look her boyfriend in the eye. She couldn't after knowing his lips and hands had been all over some other girl.

She heard the door slam shut again and footsteps creaking into the room next to hers.

All she wanted to do was wrap her arms around him and cuddle him until she slept. She simply couldn't ask for him to come back now. Not after her being blunt with him.

The next morning Dianne was awoken early, hearing a soft knock at her door. She fully knew it would be Joe and it was as she climbed out of bed and opened the door.

"Why?"
"Dianne please let me explain..."
"There's NOTHING to explain."

She slammed the door back in his face, collapsing to the floor in a flood of tears. She wiped and wiped at her eyes as she noticed his foot blocked the door from shutting properly. She pushed all her weight against it but gave in shortly after, becoming weak and vulnerable.

"Dianne?"

Joe could hear the tears escaping from Dianne as he opened the door slowly and knelt down to her level, using the end of his jumper to wipe away the tears.

"We're over Joe.Have her."

And with that he took a step aback, holding his head in his hands as he left her rushing to pack her bags so she could get the next available train to London. The closer the better.

//

Dianne had gotten on her train and was heading down to London. Throughout the whole journey the only thought on her mind was Joe,the guy who kissed the girl she was told 'not to worry about'. She couldn't end things in the way she did,he probably didn't want to hear her voice but all she wanted was to hear his.

She looked for her phone in the pile of rubbish in her bag and dialled Joes number. She waited for a while before hearing his voice on the end of the phone.

"Joe?"
"Di?"

With that she burst into floods of tears. Hearing his voice made the memories of last night come back thicker and faster. The way she gushed to Stacey about him in the club for him to go and kiss the girl she was told 'not to worry about'.

"Please don't cry. Please please please. Look as soon as you get into London get and uber straight to mine. I'm on the train behind yours."

And then the phone hung up.

Dianne felt the tears pouring thicker and faster from her eyes, wiping them up as quick as she could so the other passengers didn't see or hear her. All she could think about was Amy's sentence from last night,'You deserve better.' She truly had the best. This was the guy who made her laugh every day,the guy who put the smile on her face, the guy who woke her up every morning with a hot black coffee and a morning kiss. She knew what he did was just a drunken mistake. Dianne was also the one who did shit with him whilst she was still with Anthony, she could easily forget and forgive a drunken kiss.

She could easily forget and forgive a man who did so much for her. Because it was just a one off mistake.
