He may not have brought home the Glitterball,but Joe definitely brought home a clingy redheaded crazy Australian who didn't just take his heart but also took his bedsheets too! Watching her lay next to him made his heart all fuzzy,her slightly crimped hair splayed out on the pillow and the leftover smell of tan lingering on her body.
"This is it"Joe softly said as he cuddled closer into Dianne,letting his finger run around the palm of her hand. Tonight was the time he would make them official to the world. He decided to use a picture from the Pride of Britain awards,one which wasn't fussy or posed but one what was natural as they gazed into eachothers eyes.
"Uhh, Ahh, Who's there...? Hello..."
"Dianne it's me"Joe smiled,kissing her forehead softly as she turned over towards him. Every morning Dianne did the same thing,forget I was in bed next to her. She also sometimes thought she was back at her own apartment and used to complain that it had been renovated without her approval,crazy child!

"Did you ever think Joe that you'd have your Strictly partner sat on your sofa cuddling you?"
"I never thought that,I might have to report you for being too beautiful and making me fall in love with you."
The pair always took the mick out of eachother. Joe commenting on Diannes lack of knowledge and how she always asked the most weird and wonderful questions possible. Dianne always made fun of how tiny and small Joe was,always making the joke that if he was any smaller she'd step on him.
"What do you want for breakfast Di?"
"Cuddles from you..."
"Well i'm having toast for breakfast!."
And with that he stood up and walked over towards the fridge,pulling out a wide variety of fruits and pancakes to make Dianne the most luxurious of meals he could possibly do. He wasn't the best cook but seeing as today was an extremely important day he just had to start it off on the right tracks.
"Joe?"
"Yeah?"
"When you putting the post about us up?"
"Shall I do it just before we head to the Buttercream + Dianne meet up?"
Tonight was the annual Buttercreams Winter Wonderland meet up and it was the first time Joe and Dianne would officially be a couple in public. Joe didn't want himself and Dianne to feel penned up tonight with what they post because it wasn't official and before was the best time so they could switch off from the media frenzy as everyone gathers to the worst kept secret of Strictly '18.
Joe was finishing up with his fruit pancake extravaganza as he received a text from Zoe. Not one person or his family knew about him and Dianne,he didn't want to tell them because he didn't want it to seem he only did it to find love. It's not Love Island!

So she did know.
The pair didn't hide it very well. Dianne was a very flirtatious person and couldn't help touching Joe at every possibility she could,he didn't complain about that.

"Joe just get it up,stop stressing!"
And with that the post went up.
'I may not have won the glitterball but i have won something a thousand times more.'
The pair took no notice of what was happening around them. They continued with there preparations for Winter Wonderland,Dianne applying a fresh coat of makeup as Joe decided what coat to wear. This was one thing they both loved,even if the media was creating stories as they spoke they never let it bother what they were doing and there relationship.

On the way to Winter Wonderland with the Buttercreams was a nightmare. If he had a question for everytime he got asked 'How many times did you shag backstage?' or 'Is she a good kisser?' i'd be living in Australia with Dianne! Even if these bunch of idiots grated on Joe sometimes,he didn't love them any less.
News had gotten around that Dianne and Joe we're heading to Winter Wonderland and there had never been so much paparazzi in there life. As soon as they left the car hand in hand bright flashes were coming left right and center. This never phased them evening if the rest of the boys were acting as if it was a photoshoot.
"Are you okay about that?"Dianne asked as they entered a private chalet,taking a seat in the corner and snuggling up close to Joe as he protected her from the cold.
"Why wouldn't I be?"he smiled,kissing her forehead softly as a massive 'awe' was heard in the chalet.

The night was one crazy night,rounds of drinks and karaoke,truth or dare usually just with Joe and Dianne and a whole lot of kissing and cuddling. The boys really got along with Dianne and so did she. She just had that kind of banter which everyone loved,the one which made Joe burst into fits of laughter every time she came out with a stupid joke or phrase.
"First night official,crossed off!" Dianne said as Joe unlocked the door into there apartment.
"What a crazy night,I think it's straight to bed for us drunken messes."
The first night official was really one to remember.
