Hi, everyone! As promised, here's the chapter written by a friend and fan! Unfortunately, they don't have a Wattpad account, or else we'd link you to them. As a general disclaimer, this chapter won't have any influence on the actual story-line, but we do hope that you have as much fun reading it as we did! Great job to the person who wrote this, and to the rest of you, enjoy!
"Not yet!" Hisses Phoebe to Zach, ready to spring from their hiding place in the bushes and blow their cover. Zach groans and reluctantly lowers himself back into the bushes, ensuring that their mission might not have an early ruin. Phoebe breathes a sigh of relief and checks her watch, anxious for the signal to appear and alert her to the rescue.
"When can we leave, we've been here forever and I'm tired of waiting." She hears Zach say, completely oblivious or forgetful of the plan. Phoebe brushes her hair out of the way and replies:
"Do you want me to go over it again?" She asks, tired of his impatience and thoroughly through with his complaining. He shakes his head vigorously, to which she responds by glaring daggers at him and deciding to repeat the plan, again. "Okay, we're going to wait for the signal, which will be sent to us by the secret correspondent--"
"You mean Blake, right?" He says, making her blush and mumble something about technicalities. He smirks, glad Phoebe's stopped relaying the plan in that annoying tone of her's.
"Then we spring and grab the girl."
"Do you mean Valyemm?" Zack asks dumbly. Phoebe rolls her eyes in exasperation.
"Yes! Now hush and wait for the signal."
"But-"
"Shhh!!!"
They wait in complete silence. They continually check their watches. Then all of a sudden their watches glow green and Josepph walks out with Valyemm cradled in his arms. Phoebe and Zach spring from the bushes and race towards them. Josepph puts Valyemm in the the seat and is shutting the door. Zap! Zach shape shifts and turns into a large fly. He zooms towards the car and just as Josepph is about to slam the door he comes in between Josepph and the car door and zap! He turns into a human. Josepph gapes at him. They hear a door slam and whip around to find Blake running towards them at full speed. He only sees one target. Valyemm. He tears the car door off of its hinges and lifts Valyemm up into his arms.
"You're n-not human," Josepph sputters. Blake smiles and slowly walks towards Josepph, carrying Valyemm in his arms.
"You're not either," he says calmly.
Josepph turns white, his face is filled with horror. He glances towards the sky and sees the full moon. He turns his face back to them. It's filled with rage. All of a sudden his knees buckle and he's on the ground shaking. He bends over and his spine seems to push through the skin. Josepph gives a howell of pain as his fingers extend to dagger sharp claws. His hole body seems to be expanding. His shirt is in tatters in tears and his body has sprouted chocolate brown fur. He stands, his face has grown a long snout his eyes are lemon yellow and slitted. He is no longer Josepph, he is a werewolf.
Phoebe sees him lift his snout into the air and sniff something, he then turns away and bounds into the direction of what seems to be the woods. Then she sees Blake hunched over Valyemm, looking concerned. She frowns, he's looking at her in a way that suggests interest, a look he used to reserve only for her. She advances, blood simmering, you can't be with her, you are with me. She stalks towards Blake, who looks up and says "Not too hurt, she'll be okay." Then, seeing her ugly expression, "Hey, everything okay..." She lifts her head, trying to justify her thoughts, tears stinging her cheeks.
"You, th-the mission, you can't be with her," She says, Blake looking alarmed and raising his hands in surrnder "Phoebe, listen-" They hear a groan and suddenly Valyemm is awake.
...
The first thing I see is a girl with red hair, the first thing I hear is her shouting. I try to move, but I have a splitting headache. "Listen," I hear Blake say, "The only thing that matters is that Valyemm gets somewhere safe, somewhere Joseph can't find her." He looks down and sees me awake, his face breaking into a grin "Valyemm" He says, smiling down at me. I try to sit up but can't.
"What happened?" I ask, my head throbbing. He frowns, "You don't remember?" I shake my head, wincing at the movement. He unconsciously glances in the direction of the woods and lifts me into his arms, I groan in protest and he gives an apolegetic smile.
I am moved into the backseat of the car, a pillow propped up beneath my head by a rather plain-looking boy who oggles at me and says "Sure you're not an illusion?" At which point I pretend to fall asleep. The girl with red hair is sitting up front with Blake, sniveling and yelling at him all at once. My head is aching. I groan and a pill and water bottle are placed beside me by the boy. I take the pill with a small sip of water and fall back against the seat. That boy is still watching me. I close my eyes and try to remember what happened.
I was at the party. I was in Joseph's arms. And then, nothing.
Where was Joseph? My head fogged up and I peeled my eyelids open and looked at the car. There was no side door. Surely we would get pulled over. I looked out the window for any red and blue lights. Nothing. My head turned back to Josepph. To me being in his arms. I needed to know where he was.
"Josepph?" It was hardly a whisper, but Blake heard me.
From the steering wheel he softly said, "Valyemm, Josepph is a werewolf. I gasped. Joseph? A werewolf? Blake was surely pulling my leg. But then I looked at him through the rear view mirror and I scolded myself for thinking that Blake would ever do such a thing. Blake would never in a million years do that. He was so kind and gentle, but then, so was Josepph. I wanted Josepph, but he was a werewolf and we didn't know where he was. I choked back tears and looked out the window and into the street. Still no sirens. I sighed. Well, at least I was here with Blake and with two strangers that were with Blake. They gave me hope. Hope that I could be with Josepph. I could find Josepph.
I had to.
