An Unexpected Journey Alexander Calvert x Reader

It's been a couple of days since my encounter with Alex that night at the club. What was I thinking though just because of the interaction I had with him doesn't mean we will see each other again. I just kept going through that night in my head and how magical it was. 

Just in that moment, my phone began to ring. 

"Hello?" I said skeptically as I didn't know the number. 

"Jasmine?" the deep but almost recognizable voice said

"Yes? Who is this?" I said as I was just waiting for confirmation

"It's Alex, from the club."

"Oh hi, I am sorry I didn't have your number saved in my phone"

"It's okay, but the reason I am calling is to ask if you had any plans tonight?"

I paused, "I don't have any plans why?"

"I would like to take you out tonight if you are up to it," he said and gave a nervous chuckle

"I'd love to" I say but could feel my face getting red. 

"Great I'll pick you up... does 7 sound good?"

"7 is great" I could hear him begin another sentence "and I'll send you my address in a text"

"Great I'll see you tonight"

"See you then"

We both hung up and I immediately called Olivia.

"Hello?"

"Liv I need you to get to my house now"

"ooo...okay I'll be right there>"

My nerves were getting the best of me. I begin to think to myself.. am I going on my first date in ages?
