Mara Blake has had a rough last couple of years since her parent's divorce. What will happen when she runs into a brown haired-blue eyed boy that goes by the name Colby Brock? Read this story to find out what their story is. :)
I wake up and the first thing that I do is look at my phone. To my surprise, there was a text from Colby asking me if I wanted to film a YouTube video with him and Kat. Without any hesitation, I said yes and proceeded to get ready.
The two of us have been hanging out a lot this past week and we have gotten really close. I go over to my closet and try and find an outfit to wear. I don't want to be too dressy because it's honestly too early for that and let's face it, I am just too lazy.

I grab this outfit out of my closet and head to the bathroom to take a shower. (Author's Note: she doesn't necessarily look like this unless you want to imagine her too 😂) Once I'm out of the shower, I brush my brown medium-length hair. I don't really plan on doing anything with it, I'm just going to let it dry into its natural beach waves.
Next, I decide to put on a little bit of makeup. Usually, I wouldn't care because as I said before, I am both too tired and lazy. However, today we happen to be filming a YouTube video and I don't want the world thinking I am a slob.
I just wear some mascara and a bit of concealer under my eyes and call it a day. Then, I head over to Colby's. Luckily since it's so early, I don't have to deal with my mom again. Although, she will probably have a lecture ready for me when I get back home later today.

When I got to Colby's house, Kat was already there, "Hey guys!" I said as I walked in the door. "Hey, Mara! How are you?" Kat asked me as we hugged. "I'm fine. You?" "Same." She replied and I nodded! "So where's Colby?" "Oh, he's just getting his camera from his room, then we can start filming."
"Do you know what kind of video we are going to be filming anyways?" "Yeah, I think it's just a who knows me better. He said it was going to be real short, just like five questions or something like that." "Nice."
Just then, Colby entered the room. "Alright, here's the camera. Are you guys ready to film?" "Yep." Kat and I said in unison. Kat and I took a seat on the couch while he turned on the camera.
"Hey guys welcome back to my channel! So as you can see, I am joined with two special guests: you all already know Kat, and my new friend, Mara. As you can tell by the title, we are going to be doing a who knows me better."
"So if you guys haven't seen this challenge before, basically I am going to give each of the contestants a white board and a dry erase marker. Then, I am going to ask them a question about myself, they will both write what they think the answer is down on their boards. Once they are both done writing, they will both flip the boards over at the same time. If they get it right they get a point."
"Now that we all know the rules, let's get started. Okay, first question: what is my full name?" Okay, I definitely know this one, I write down Cole Robert Brock on my board. When Kat is done writing, we both turn our boards around.
