"Who is it, Deathvine?" asked the dude with fire-type hair.
"I don't know Firejax. It's a girl though. Maybe Agent009 and Scientist007891's daughter."
They smirked. Then realization flooded through me. How could I have been so stupid?! They were the Brotherhood of Darkness!
"Well, we gotta find those idiots. Running away and taking out their microchips is the most idiotic thing a mortal could ever do. And they aren't getting off easy," the dude that I knew as Firejax growled.
"Should we bust in and kill the girl? It's been to long since a good head smashing, "asked a rocky looking mutant.
"Nah, for all we know, she could be The One. She's got the strongest power tug I've felt in my entire life. I mean there's no way she can hide from other mutants. Her signal's way to strong," responded the one I knew as Deathvine.
The One? Who's that? What the heck are they even talking about? I thought.
"She's gonna have to learn how to not think things in her head unless she wants me to over hear her, " Deathvine said seriously.
The One is the mutant who is meant to either save mankind from The Three, or destroy all living beings on earth. Which, could be you, we're not sure. I made a face of horror. I'd just heard him speak in my own mind! Was that even possible?
Yes, you can hear my in your mind 'cuz I'ma telepath, dummy!
"But Deathvine, we should kill her. She doesn't know about anything so she can't possibly be The One!" whined someone in the group.
"Silence! You will not try to talk me out of this! If you do, The Three will hear of it," Deathvine said in a voice as hard as iron and cold as ice,"We need to get back now. You guys have a mission and I must go to The Three. They don't like to be kept waiting."
"Of course," said a man who was covered in black goo and seemed to ripple, disappear, then reappear. He snapped, making an electric kind of purple that was sent through everyone in the mutant group, then they vanished, not a trace to be found.
