Out in the middle of nowhere was a barn. The Barn actually. People often questioned The Barn but no one has been there for a ful night. Not far from this barn lived a small town named Green Collar. It was a poor town. People were getting very lillte pay. But in this poor town lived a girl named Janet. Janet was like a ray of sunshine across this miserable town. And although Janet was very sweet and very upbeat, she had had enough of people groaning at how awful everything was. She packed up and told her friends, Annabelle and Layla, to meet her at noon at her house. As soon as they arrived they saw her and asked what they were going to do."We are getting out of here for the weekend." Janet said jumping into the driver's seat of her tiny white car she got for her 16th birthday."Cool, where we headed?' asked Annabelle getting in the car beside Janet. "The Barn." Janet announced. "Can we please go to the motel in Brook Haven instead" said Layla shivering in the back seat. "NO" Janet said sternly the most mad she has ever been. "Ok-k-k." Layla said kinda scared. Off they went. It was silent ride.

When they got there it looked liked a regular barn but they didn't know what was lay inside. Of course they knew the stories about the barn but hadn't actually been there themselves. Layla was frighted because she believed all the stories that Janet and Annabelle didn't. When they opened the barn door it was dim and hay was everywhere."Good thing I came prepared." Janet said. As they started making beds Annabelle said "Why are we here again?" In a questioning voice. "Because I don't Green Collar very much anymore." answered Janet. "why?" Annabelle said. "WHY NOT!" Janet spat "Calm down I was just asking." replied Annabelle.

When it started getting dark they went to bed but when they started dozing off. They heard a creak on the floorboards. Layla screamed. Annabelle said "This is an old barn its just a loose nail." They went back to sleep. Five minutes later there was pounding on the roof. "Is it raining?" Janet said surprised. Annabelle looked outside. Nothing. Layla was girding her teeth and shaking back and fourth "Monsters...Monsters....." "What about monsters?" Janet said a little frightened now. "They're here." Then out of nowhere doors start opening and closing and there is more pounding on the roof wind is blowing hard. Then it stops . "BOO!"

A week later they found the girls bodies. They were all dead of fright. And from that day forward no one dare question The Barn.
