This is the place where you can read and get critique on short works up to 4k words.
In general, The_Bookshop profile caters more to adults (26+) than to teens. Because we want to welcome mature stories (R-rated) as well as those dealing with adult problems and experiences, we have decided to set the age limit at 18-years-old or over for membership.
This is in no way meant to reflect on the writing abilities of those under 18, it concerns content only.
This club welcomes minority voices and authors.
If you are not okay with reading stories featuring characters of different races, nationalities, religions or sexual orientations than you are, then this isn't the club for you.
We are always open for new members for the following calendar month.
