Chapter 1

"Aria! Aria!" I heard someone shouting from outside my room. The person opened the door fast and jumped onto my bed. Nobody else could be it, than my little brother Dan. "What do you want?" I asked him sleepy. "Wake up! Breakfast is ready!" he shouted while still jumping on the bed. "It's summer, why should I get up this early? And let me guess, Mum told you to wake me up right?" I said loud, so my Mum could hear it. My Mom was standing in the door, smiling. "yeah I told him, but, did u forgot that we will move to California today?" she told me while picking up Dan. "oh shit." I just said as I stood up. "Get yourself something to wear and come downstairs, so we can eat breakfast." she said and left with my Brother.
I accutaly don't want to move away from our little city near Florida. I'm really gonna miss my friends and this place. I went to the bathroom and washed my face, put on some clothes and went downstairs to the kitchen.

"oh you finally got yourself down here?" my Mum said while sitting down. I sat down and we started to eat. "does Dad knows that we're moving?" I asked my mum carefully. My Parents are divorced and my father lives in Miami, so near to us.
"yes, he knows it, he's gonna visit you every 2 Month" she told me quick.
As soo as we finished eating I went upstairs to get my bag for the flight.
My handy vibrated and I took it out of my pocket, it was my best Friend Kyla.
"Hey Bestie" she shouted through the Phone. "Hey Kyla, what's up?" I simply said while going downstairs. "Ah nothing, when will you be at the Airport?" she asked me. "umm we're on our way now, why are you asking?" I asked her and opened the car door. "oh well, I have to go. Call me when you arrived in California" she told me and hung up. My Mom started the car and we drove to the Airport.

When we arrived we checked in and went to our gate. I saw someone familiar standing there, it's was Kyla.
"Aria!!" she shouted and ran into my arms. "what are you doing here?" I asked happily. "I wanted to say Goodbye before you leave" she said a bit sad. "Awwh, I'm gonna miss you!" I told her and hugged her tight. We spoke for the rest of the time, until my Mum said that we have to get on the plane. We hugged a last time and I left her back. We got on the plane and got to our seats. "I'm sitting at the window!" my brother shouted and jumped on his seat. My Mum took the seat next to him, and I had to sit on the outside. I tried to sleep a bit after we took off, but Dan didn't let me. He was so loud, I wonder how all the other passengers stayed so calm. The 6 hour flight felt like a 10 hour flight.

We landed in Los Angeles, and had to drive 1 hour to get to the little Town, where we'll live. I straight went upstairs to my room, because I were so tired and layed down. I called Kyla to tell her that we come home safe.
"Ayy Aria, where you at?" she said. "we're home now, are you OK?" I asked because she sounded different. "yeah she's good, I'm taking her home how" a voice said through the phone. "who are you?" I asked that person. "I'm her Friend don't worry, she won't get raped" the person said. "well, I hope that for you" I said. "yeah, I promise. Have a good night" the person said and hung up. Strange, I didn't know the voice on the phone. I decided to call her tomorrow and ask her. I went to the bathroom to shower, but it was locked. "who's in there?" I asked through the door. "I'm in here" my mum told and opened the door. "is everything okay?" I asked her, because she doesn't looked good. "yeah I'm okay" she answered and went downstairs. I went into the bathroom and took a shower, brushed my teeth and put on my Pyjama. When I walked out, my mum stood in front of me.
"could you bring Dan to bed? I have to make a call" she said and went down. I walked into the room from Dan and saw him playing. "where's mummy?" he asked me. "she has to make a call, now go to bed" I told him and walked over to his bed. Dan jumped in it and layed down under the blanket. "can you tell me a story?" he asked me. "okay, listen..." I started. I told a story about a boy who got super powers and saved the world with his friends. Dan always tells us he want to be a superhero and save the world. We all can't belive him, but we pretend that we trust him.

As soon as I finished, Dan was already asleep and I walked out quite. I went down to the living room and saw my mother talking to the phone. She hung up and turned her head to me. "what's wrong mum?" I asked her. "the job where I'm supposed to work after the summer, told me I have to start working next week" she told me. "that means I have to take care of Dan all summer?" I asked her. "yeah, I'm sorry" she said. Well, I weren't happy with that but I think, my summer will not be so nice. "okay mom it's alright" I told her and hugged her. I went upstairs to my my room. I layed down under my blanket and turned the lights off. I fell asleep very fast.

I spend the whole summer at home with Dan, I went to the zoo with him, I played with him, I brought groceries and cooked. My Mum always came home late, so we didn't saw her a lot. School will start soon and I'm very exited to make new friends, even through I'm not really good at that.
