school days

Going through the halls hearing everyone talking about and laugh and move away from you as tears fall as a teacher pulled me to the side are you okay she spoke softly I looked at her straight in her yes why do you care not like you can stop I said then walked away. she looked shocked at my outburst and sighed heading into her classroom while I got to mine and walked straight to the back and put my music in and waited for the class to fall in and noticed the girl they dreaded seeing every day. the girl they love making fun of for something I can't control the house was nasty. we had a lot of animals mostly dogs and only one of them is outside trained and that was my very first dog. But no one knew the days at schools was so bad everyone thinks I'm just overreacting it's not as bad as I say it is. but they don't hear it as I do running through my head. I grab my book from my bag and start turning to the page I was at and wait for the teacher to call for a bathroom break and then when she called for my table I was the only one who went that  when I walked in the bathroom and heard the little sniffles so I walked down to the stall it was heard in so I knock   hello? are you there?  are you okay? these questions have no answer to them so I go in and this little blond girl was sitting in the corner of the stall she looks up at me  and spoke softly "go away your going to be like the others"  at that time I was only six I didn't know much about making people better so I just started talking " hi im  Macy im six are you okay?"  she mumbles im chase "like the boy name" she chuckled "yeah my mom wanted a boy" it was silent for a few minutes before I spoke up "so what's wrong I wanna help" she looked up me I was now sitting in front of her not caring about the bell already ringing   " this school is bad there are so many rude people she spoke and tears started to fall down her face. Not knowing what to do I just pull her into a fight hug and just let her weep in tell our first class up and we already for missing the first one. once she had calmed down I help her up and we head our separate ways. At the end of the day, I met up with chase again and we heading for the carport where our parents pick us up from she looks around for a minute then sighs "chase what's wrong?" I question she not coming to get me, she either here earlier or not coming at all she said sadly well my mom can give you a ride home "come on she is over there" we walk over to my mom car and she explained where she lived it was only a road down from mine as we sit in the car silently in tell we pull into her house and she hugged me goodbye and said thank you looking at her house sighing as she walked inside little did I know how bad her home life was and how much this one girl would change my life forever.
