12 year old percy jackson walked into camp half blood with Grover underwood, his, now official, guardian. "So whatcha think lil buddie?" Grover laughed. percy had experience with magic, but not like this. a demigod camp? he had known he a a strong family tree (on his moms side) but he hadn't even been skimming the surface of his heritage. he hoped that his dad wouldn't mess with his Quidditch. percy had recently finished his second year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. See, hundreds of years ago, his ancestor, Godric Gryffindor, had founded the school. So, every generation of his moms family had gone. he had found a passion for the broom stick sport Quidditch. he hoped his dad wouldn't make it (more) dangerous to play.

He had met Grover at one of his summer jobs. Grover had talked to his mom and she'd decided that he'd be a summer camper. so, percy went to the Hermes cabin and lived there for about a week, and he wondered if he WAS a child of Hermes. he was kinda hoping that would be true: Hermes kids didn't get blasted out of the sky when they were on flying shoes, so if he were a child of Hermes, he could play on the Quidditch team next year. nope. Poseidon claimed him that night. So, he would be dead if he played Quidditch.

he went on a quest, with a pretty girl named annabeth and grover. they got back and spent a few more weeks at camp. then, he went to England.

Percy wandered down the train cars until he found the compartment where he found his 2 favorite people: the weasley twins. "Hey guys!" he laughed

"hello mate." they said in unison, "sticking with Quidditch this year?"

Percy's smile faded "uh...."

"what!" Fred cried "c'mon! we won't keep up if you won't, our plan was the 3 of us all together!" percy began to crumble with guilt: they had all been such good friends last year, and they had a promise: they all try out for the house team, or none of them do. They had made the team, and all promised that they would stick with it. the twins were amazing beaters and, percy sighed. he LOVED quidditch, and they did too.

"I'm-" he started, still not sure this was a good idea, "I'm just kidding!" he was still nervous.

"phew, that was a scare mate!" George cried with a laugh. percy smiled and went with them to change into his Gryffindor robes.
