Chapter 21: Nicknames

Sammy POV

There was a bad storm all day. I was sitting on the couch next to Kaitlyn, and every single time there was a thunder bang she jumped. It was kinda cute actually. She was reading a book and suddenly there was yet another bang and, of course, she jumped. I scooted over closer to her and put my arms around her. 

"It's okay, Kaitlyn, no need to be scared I'm right here."

"Thanks Sammy. I don't know why but I've never liked thunder"

"It's alright everyone's scared of something."

"Oh really what are you scared of?"

I smiled "A few things but the thing that scares me most is losing you forever."

She smiled "I love you so much Sammy-Bear."

I raised an eyebrow "Sammy-Bear? Is that your new nickname for me?"

She just nodded.

"I like it. I think I'll call you Katiebelle" I kissed her before she had the chance to reply.

Kaitlyn POV

There was a few seconds of silence after me and Sammy pulled away from our kiss. I just sat there with my head on his shoulder, holding on to his arm.

"I've always been meaning to ask you, Kaitlyn, what's your full name?" Sammy asked.

I sighed, sitting up straighter "I don't like using it much but my full name is Kaitlyn Garcia."

Sammy smiled "Kaitlyn Garcia? It suits you."

I smiled "I'd much rather be Kaitlyn Lawrence." Sammy chuckled, thinking I was joking.

But I actually meant it.
