Joy. For her, it comes in tidal waves. The floating up and crashing down of a rollercoaster makes her feel like she's flying. She lifts her arms to the sky to intensify the feeling and our spirits are lifted with them. In perfect time with her ever-growing smile we develop toothy grins of our own. When fits of laughter, uncontrollable but perfectly timed, erupt from us, we can all be sure that she is happy. The urge to pluck daisies from their grassy homes and adorn our hair with them is ingrained in us and we have our Person to thank for that. But happiness isn't always a whirlwind, sometimes it's the need to lose ourselves in someone else's story. Her most blissful days combine a comfortable chair and a good book-these are my favorite moments. When she feels happy, she feels it with everything-or everyone-in her.
