First things first. I am not writting this to get you to become Mormon, or anything of the sort, although that would be amazing. I am simply here, to inform you of the truth about Mormons, seeing how I have been one all fifteen years of my life.first off, most people have misconceptions about Mormons. Many believe we are a cult, wanting to corupt your mind, although we are anything but. We want to let you see the light of Christ for yourself, not convince you that's the only thing right in the world. But only to tell you what we believe, then encourage you to test it for yourself, if you don't believe then we are sorry, you are missing out on what we believe is the truth.

And then there are those who believe we are like the Amish. No, we do not only use things we make ourselves, although Amish people are very smart in their ways, we do not follow them. We use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and anyother  social media. We buy most our clothes, food, and entertainment. We use Xboxs, PlayStations, and many other electronics. We live in houses just like you do. Normally we weren't the ones who built them, but sometimes we are.

Many people also believe we practice Polygamy. Now, I have come to understand loads upon loads of people believe this. Although it is not true. In all truth, Polygamy is prohibited in our religion. We DO NOT PRACTICE POLYGAMY. We believe marrige should be between one man, and one woman who love each other, and get married in the temple to be sealed together. (I'll explain Temple seals later.) In all honesty, I am not sure where the idea that we practice polygamy came from, for I don't know everything. I am not perfect, which brings us to another misconception.

No, we do not believe we are perfect. Yes we believe everyone sins, no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. We know everyone has their seperate trials, their reactions and the way they deal with those trial shape them the way they are. And that's just the way it is. Yes, some of us Mormons twist the words of the scriptures, misinturpreting them to think other wise, but alas, it is not true,

Now, some people don't think we are Christians. LDS theology is different that Christianity, we don't nessacarily believe in the trinity, we believe God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are seperate beings. We also believe in the Book of Mormon, which Christians do not, although we are not against Christianity. Yet, we do not practice it.

This is all I am posting for now, I will add more later, Please, if you have ANY questions, post them in a comment, and I will answer to the best of my abilities. Again, I do not know everything, no one does, and I am still learning myself, being the young age of fifteen. I'd apprectiate any questions, because I am here to attempt to teach. Not to make you conform. Only to explain. Thank you for listening, And keep an eye out for updates, I Will be posting more later on. Thank you!

    Sincerly, the Mormon.
