Sick Days (oc fic) Josh & Carson

A Cold

Carson woke up to the sound of Josh coughing. He shot up.
"Hey, babe. Are you okay?" Carson's voice was gravely and tired while his hair was pulled back into a loose bun with hair falling out of it.
Josh calmed himself down with the help of Carson tracing circles with his hand on his back. "Yeah. I'm sorry I woke you up. I can sleep in the living room if you want?" It was obvious that he was congested.
"No, I can tell you're sick," Carson places his hand on Josh's forehead, "and you have a fever. Stay here and I'll get you some water. Does anything hurt?" He stroked his cheek softly.
"My head..." Josh leaned into his hand, loving the feeling of affection when he felt like he was going to die.
"I'll get you some medicine too. Stay in bed." He got out of the bed and made his way to the kitchen with only a shirt and boxers on. Even though Josh couldn't see well, he knew Carson looked adorable. He wanted to cuddle him still and beg him to come back to bed. Not too long after he came back with two small pills in hand and a bottle of water. Carson sat cross legged next to Josh who was lying down. "Baby," He said quietly to get his attention, which worked. He turned over and groaned a little. "I'm back with the medicine and water. Sit up to take it I don't want you to choke."
Josh obeyed and sat up a little. He took what Carson handed him while still trying to keep his eyes open. "Thanks, hun." He kissed Carson's cheek and leaned into him.
He chuckled softly. "Why not on the lips?~"
"It's nothing personal. I just don't want to get you sick."
     Carson sighed. "I don't care if I get sick. I still want to kiss you, even when you have morning breath." He gave a soft smile and kissed Josh's nose while wrapping his arms around his neck.
"Cuddles?" Josh asked softly.
"Definitely." Carson wrapped his arms around him tightly and laid down.
