Grim Reapers are reapers who serve Death. The lead Grim Reaper always has a scythe with him. He also has a list of the souls he has to collect. The leader has a timeglass, one for each life. And when one timeglass runs out, he comes to collect the soul right after Death has visited. The leader is the enity Morséus's equal in The Land Of The Dead. They work together like brothers.

Normal Grim Reapers spend most of their time in the world of the living, among humans and other creatures. Their job is to protect the inhabitants of Earth without them knowing. Unlike their leader, they don't have scythes, but they have something called a "Grim Reapers seal" which shows others that they serve Death. They handle evil spirits, lost souls, and help them find their way to The Land Of The Dead. Their leader sometimes has them collect newly dead souls as well, mostly because they're worthy of becoming Grim Reapers themselves.

Reapers are a little different. Unlike Grim Reapers they don't serve Death. They are dark beings who feed on souls. They kill someone, and take their souls as their own. The more people they kill, the more souls they get. The more souls they get, the more powerful they become. They're a threat to the enity Morséus, so he has been trying to stop them. Some reapers, has been Grim Reapers before. One of them is Reina, which means queen. She wanted to become queen in her life, but her brother was ahead of her in the throne line. So she murdered him, and crowned herself queen afterwards. As punishment she was forced to serve Morséus as a Grim Reaper, as requested by her brother. Reapers often make their own scythes, so unlike Grim Reapers, almost all of them carry one. Morséus once met a Reaper named Darksoul. Whom to this day is still his closest friend.

Reapers are also often called "Rouge Reapers".
