It was 5:00 AM, and he couldn't sleep. The whole night had been spent thinking about his sweet angel. He couldn’t wait to see her today. He got up and walked to his personal gym, but once again, his mind wandered back to her—her angelic face, small figure, smooth skin, red, kissable lips, and silky hair.

God, I need to stop thinking about her.

He focused on his exercise, pushing through the routine. An hour later, he was done for the day. He exited the gym, walked to his bedroom, took a shower, and dressed in his suit. Checking his phone, he saw there were no calls or messages from Liam about the information he had requested regarding Angelica.

He walked into the dining room, where his maids bowed as he entered before quickly exiting the room. His breakfast had already been set on the table. He started eating, his thoughts still on her.

He exited his penthouse and walked out of the building. His men were already standing there, bowing when they saw him. He nodded at them and got into his car, waiting as the driver started the engine. He glanced out of the window, wondering what his angel might be doing right now.

He checked his emails and thought about Peter. The man hadn't had the guts to steal the drugs alone—there was definitely another mole involved.

He doesn’t know what’s coming for him.

A sinister smile curled at his lips as he reached his office. Ignoring the usual greetings, he took the private elevator up and walked into his office. As he sat in his chair, his phone rang, and it was Liam.

“Liam,” he answered, standing and walking to the glass wall to look out over the city.

"Capo, non ho niente su Angelica Anderson" Liam said, his voice low and hesitant. (Boss, I have nothing on Angelica Anderson)

"Che assurdità è questa?"he growled, his patience wearing thin. ("What nonsense is that?")

"Ho controllato i registri governativi, i registri degli orfanotrofi, i fascicoli della polizia... ma non c'è Angelica Anderson da nessuna parte" Liam continued nervously, "Ho controllato i registri governativi, i registri degli orfanotrofi, i fascicoli della polizia... ma non c'è Angelica Anderson da nessuna parte"

(I checked government records, orphanage records, police files... but there’s no Angelica Anderson anywhere)
("Boss, I think it's not her real name, or she’s not from this city. I need more time.")

"Bene. E controlla i tabulati telefonici di Peter" he ordered.
(Fine. And check Peter's phone records)

"Peter’s phone records?" Liam hesitated, unsure.

"Sì" he said firmlyfirmly, "Scopri chi ha chiamato di più negli ultimi giorni. C'è una talpa e voglio un nome entro oggi"

(Find out who he's been calling the most over the last few days. There’s a mole, and I want a name by today)

"Sì, capo. Non ti deluderò più" Liam responded before hanging up. ("Yes, boss. I won’t disappoint you again)

He muttered angrily to himself. "That bastard... I’m going to enjoy killing him."

Turning around, he was surprised to see her standing there, nervously looking at him. She greeted him with a stuttered "Good morning," her voice soft. The sight of her, so small and fragile, reminded him of a little kitten. He wanted her to feel comfortable around him, but it was difficult when she looked at him with fear in her eyes. She was wearing a cute black skirt and white shirt, looking absolutely beautiful.

Just as he was about to speak, Stacy interrupted by knocking on the door. After a brief moment, he led Angelica to her new cabin. He couldn’t help but itch to touch her, so he placed his hand on her back. She flinched at the sudden contact, but he ignored it and continued guiding her.
