"Emily!" My younger brother yelled as he barged into my room without knocking. "Sam and Colbys new video just came out!" He said excitedly
"Great, where are they illegally breaking into this time." I said rolling my eyes. I never understood how anybody could be this obsessed with these two boys. I mean all they do is break into places that clearly say no trespassing and encourage it. They just seem like bad influences to me.
"Its an abandoned hospital and in the title it says its haunted!" He said while climbing on my bed with his laptop. "See!" He continues as he points to the screen.
"Kaden, you know its not really haunted right? Its called clickbait." I shut his laptop and handed it back to him telling him to watch it somewhere else.
He sighed and left my room.
"Close my door!" I shouted but he was already downstairs. I mumbled curse words under my breath as i got out of bed to shut my door, and lock it.
I know I'm being harsh but Kaden is 11 years old and i don't want him killing himself trying to do the things these guys do. It's dangerous and they shouldn't be telling kids to try and find their "explore sticker" as they call it in these old, abandoned buildings where homeless creeps could be living!
"Emily!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs.
"What!" I yell back. No answer. I yell it again. Still no answer. I swear she does this every time. I rip my sheets off of myself and storm downstairs.
"What?" I say clearly annoyed.
I see her standing with her arms crossed and my brother next to her smirking.
"Did you tell on me?" I ask Kaden. He nods his head. "For what? I literally did nothing wrong."
My mom fills me in by saying i yelled at him and kicked him out of my room.
"He deserved it mom he-" She interrupts me by saying "not another word, go to your room." I honestly don't know how she thinks thats a punishment, thats where i want to be and where i was in the first place.
"Oh no mom not my room!" I said sarcastically while heading back upstairs.
I hear my brother go back to his room and FaceTime his friend. They are going insane because apparently Sam and whats his face announced they are going on tour. Funny how he thinks he's gonna be able to go. Mom works everyday except Fridays so she cant take him and I'm sure as hell not taking him, its summer break and I'm not gonna spend even one day of it at this dumb tour, not to mention wheres he gonna get that kind of money.
"Yeah bro I'm gonna get that special VIP ticket so i can have lunch with them and meet them personally!" He tells his friend. What kind if imaginary world is this kid living in? I laugh out loud.
