That night while Elliot was brushing out Avery's hair after her bath, Avery started to ask Elliot a question he was hoping she would ask sooner rather than later.

"Elliot?" Avery questioned.

"Yes, baby girl?" Elliot questioned.

"Momma and I talked today... and can I start calling you Daddy? So then I have two Mommys and two Daddys?" Avery asked, and Elliot felt a large smile grow on his lips.

"Uh, did your Momma say yes?" Elliot asked.

"She did." Avery beamed as she turned around and looked at Elliot. Elliot nodded before quickly drawing the little girl into his arms. He held her close as tears welled in his eyes.

He had wanted kids since he was younger, but he never expected to have a daughter by the time he was 18. Yes, she wasn't biologically his but he planned on loving her just like he planned on loving the future children he and Olivia have.

"I love you, Daddy." Avery smiled as she wrapped her arms around Elliot's neck.

"I love you too, Avery Mae."

Elliot was so happy when he finally settled down in bed. He kept smiling because he never expected Avery to call him anything but Elliot for the rest of his life.

"Why are you all smiles tonight?" Olivia asked as she walked into their bedroom after checking on Avery for the last time before she went to bed herself.

"Because Avery asked if she could call me Daddy tonight. Do you know how happy that made me? Because it made me fucking happy!" Elliot exclaimed.

"Well, I'm glad, honey. I'm glad that she dropped the whole biological father thing and just accepted the fact that you could be her father instead." Olivia spoke.

"I love her, Liv. Like I think that not only did you two benefit from her living with us, but I benefitted too." Elliot smiled. He leaned over and kissed his fiancee once she had laid down in their bed. Olivia reached out and ran her hand over his cheek as she deepened the kiss.

"I love you, Elliot." Olivia breathed once their lips parted.

"I love you too," Elliot replied. He pulled her closer and they continued to make out. They wrapped their arms around each other and their kissing got deeper and more intense as the minutes went on.

It was rare for them to have time like this together, and they planned on making the most of it. But instead, they heard the sound of gravel underneath tires and Olivia pulled away from Elliot as the headlights shined through their window.

"Who the fuck is here?" Olivia breathed.

"I don't know. I can't see who is driving the vehicle." Elliot replied. He shifted himself out of bed before leaving their bedroom. He looked out the front window and saw as a woman paid the taxi driver before walking up the path to the house. Elliot narrowed his eyes as the floodlights turned on and the woman blocked her eyes from the sudden bright light. He saw the older version of his fiancee standing there and Elliot felt like Olivia might have a break down because of this.

"Who is it?" Olivia asked quietly.

"Uh, no one. Let's go back-"

Then the knock happened. Olivia stared at the door, and Elliot ran his hand over his face before frowning.

"It's Serena. We don't have to answer the door. It's late and she shouldn't even be here." Elliot spoke, and Olivia bit her lip as tears sprung into her eyes.

"I'm going to lay with Avery..." She whispered before quickly walking down the hall and to where Avery's room was.

Elliot watched as she shut the door behind her before he turned and looked at the door as Serena knocked again.

They didn't want her here, but now she is and it was going to hurt Olivia completely.

Eventually, Serena got the feeling they weren't there so she left. But that didn't stop her from coming back the next morning.

Elliot was home alone since Olivia had taken Avery to school and then she had a shift to work. Elliot walked to the front door and opened it hesitantly as he held a cup of coffee in his hand.

"Yeah?" Elliot asked quietly.

"Hi, uh, is Olivia Benson here?" Serena questioned. Elliot really could see how alike Serena and Olivia look more so in the light than they did in the dark.

"She's at work," Elliot replied, and Serena nodded slowly.

"I'm her mother..." Serena trailed off. Elliot nodded.

"I know you are. You and your daughter are the spitting images of each other. Minus the few scars Olivia has on her face." Elliot spoke.

"How do you know my daughter?" Serena questioned.

"I'm engaged to her. I'm the boy she ran away with." Elliot replied, and Serena nodded slowly.

"Were you getting hurt too?" Serena asked, and Elliot nodded.

"I was. I was your neighbor. My room was directly across from Olivia's room." Elliot replied. Serena looked at Elliot before frowning softly.

"I came by-"

"You came by last night but we were already in bed. Coming over that late isn't wise because our kid is asleep by then."

"Your kid?" Serena breathed.

"Actually, the kid that was made after your boyfriend raped Liv."

"Oh," Serena whispered. Elliot could actually see how much she regretted what had happened in Manhattan.

"Do you want some coffee and maybe some breakfast? I have leftover pancakes from breakfast." Elliot spoke, and Serena shook her head.

"No, thank you. Uh, I'm going to head out. I won't bother you any further. Take care of my daughter and grandchild, okay?"

"It's a little girl," Elliot spoke, and Serena nodded.

"Take care of them."

When Olivia and Avery got home that night, Elliot didn't bring up Serena visiting the house again. He knew that she was already on edge a bit, but she was hiding it well.

"Sleep well, baby girl. Momma and I love you so much." Elliot smiled, as he and Olivia put Avery down for the night."

"I love you too. Are you gonna sleep in here tonight again, Momma?" Avery asked, and Olivia shook her head.

"I don't think so. Maybe another night. So just close your eyes and get some sleep. You have preschool in the morning again." Olivia breathed.

"Okay. Night." Avery yawned before rolling over onto her stomach and closing her eyes tightly.

"She always falls asleep so quickly," Elliot whispered as they walked out of the bedroom.

"She does... I wish I did too." Olivia breathed.

"Liv, I don't want you to worry about this, okay?"

"I'll try not too." Olivia sighed.
