Beach Day for SVU
Today, the SVU squad is taking a vacation to the beach.
It starts with Amanda, Fin, Olivia and Sonny getting ready at their houses to go to the beach.
Amanda's husband Declan said "Be safe today and make sure that you drink a lot of water. It's good for you and the baby. I don’t want you getting dehydrated.”
"You can come with Jesse too. You could build a sand castle with her. She likes doing that with you since I'm pregnant." Amanda says.
After everyone is done getting ready they meet outside of SVU and head off to the beach. Amanda is starting to regret drinking her huge ice tea when she realizes that there’s no rest stops close by.
"Uh oh." Amanda says as she crosses her legs uncomfortably.
Sonny asks "What’s wrong?”
Amanda says “I shouldn’t have drank all that ice tea.”
Olivia asks “Why not?”
Amanda says “Because I really have to go to the bathroom and there’s nowhere for me to pee. I just can't wait until we get to the beach."
Fin says “Well, you have to. I mean come on we’re only 5 minutes away.” “How bad can it be?” He says.
"I have a weak bladder.” Amanda says.”It doesn’t help when you have a baby pushing up against your bladder. I have to pee so bad.”
After a long drive to the beach everyone gets out of the car and Carisi and Fin head to water asking Benson and Rollins if they’re coming.
"Wait. I have to pee. Bad." Amanda says.
Olivia says to Amanda “I’ll grab your bag from the back of the car.”
"Is there a bathroom here?" Amanda asks.
“Yes I see one.” Says Sonny
“Thank you Sonny. Hopefully, I make it there in time.” Amanda says
Fin asks Olivia “ Hey Liv are you coming?”
"I have to make sure Amanda gets to the bathroom in time." Liv says.
Liv follows Amanda into the bathroom and Amanda makes it just in time.
A few minutes later, the girls come out of the bathroom and meet up with the guys.
Sonny and Fin say “What took you so long?”
"I had to pee." Amanda says.
"Amanda feels much better now."
Liv says “If only you guys knew what it’s like to be pregnant, because it’s a difficult thing to deal with."
"Jesse, are you going to build a sand castle with Daddy?" Amanda asks.
"Yes, Mommy." Jesse says.
Jesse grabs her beach toys and starts building her sand castle with Declan.
Carisi, Fin and Liv all set up their beach chairs and Carisi helps out Amanda.
Amanda says “Thank you Sonny.”
“No problem.” Sonny says.
Fin says “Hey, Liv are you ok?”
"Yeah. I'm wondering how much water Amanda will be drinking." Liv says.
“Hey, Amanda you good over there?” Liv says.
“Yeah, Liv, I’m fine.” Amanda says.
“Carisi, how are you doing?” Asks Liv.
“Doing good Lieu.” Says Carisi.
“Guys can I just say it’s really good to get a vacation away from working all the time.” Says Liv.
“Guess what?” Carisi says.
“What?” Everyone asks.
“I remembered I brought my Bluetooth speaker.” Says Carisi.
“Play some jams.” Fin says.
“You got it, Fin.” Carisi says in agreement with Fin.
Everyone starts jamming out and singing.
Jesse says “mommy look at me I’m dancing.”
Amanda says “very nice.”
Declan grabs Amanda and says “come you got to dance a little bit.”
Amanda says “fine only a little bit.”
After all the fun everyone gets hungry so Olivia remembers she packed a picnic basket with snacks, sandwiches and plenty of drinks.
"Liv, can I please have my water bottle?" Amanda asks.
“Sure thing Amanda.” Liv says.
Liv hands Amanda her water bottle and she drinks the water. As Amanda drinks the water, everyone reminds her not to drink too much.
Amanda says “Thank you for the reminder.”
“Okay cause we all know when you drink too much you need the bathroom as soon as possible.” Everyone says.
"Being pregnant makes me pee more than normal. You should see me in the middle of the night. I get up to pee so much. Just ask Declan.”
"She woke up four times last night." Declan says.
“Damn, Rollins” Says Carisi.
"I couldn't help it and there was no way that I can wait until morning.” Says Amanda.
“Well, Amanda can’t help it when she's pregnant.” Says Liv.
"Babe, how many water bottles do you have for me?" Amanda asks Declan.
“I texted Olivia before we came to the beach and made sure she packed plenty.” Says Declan.
"I get so thirsty when it's hot outside. I wanna go for a swim. Babe, come with me. Please?" Amanda asks her husband.
After an hour or so everyone gets out of the water and starts to pack up.
Then everyone heads back into the car to head home.
"Wait. There's something that I need to do first before we leave." Amanda announces.
Amanda heads out of the car to go to the bathroom one last time before they hit the road.
"Jesse, do you have to use the potty before we leave?" Amanda asks.
Jesse says “yes.”
So she goes to the bathroom and after that everyone is in the car and they all head home.
Sonny, Fin, Olivia and Amanda head back to their job at SVU and Declan goes back to his job and Jesse goes back to being a 3 year old.
