5 years later...
Goth snuck around the streets, looking around cautiously. She held the stolen food under her cloak, keeping to the shadows. Raven appeared next to her and grinned.
"Wanna lift?" He asked. Goth nodded and Raven grabbed her shoulder. She felt a familiar pulling motion and she was in the mansion. Incubux looked around and saw her.
"What'd you get?" He asked. Goth pulled out bread, butter, cheese and a bag of apples. "Good haul," He complimented. Goth nodded and put them on the kitchen bench.
"How long until we go out again?" She asked. Incubux considered.
"Noah's sick again so we have to go out more often than usual but we haven't seen what everyone else got yet so I don't know." Goth nodded and Raven sat lazily on the couch.
"Do I need to get anyone else?" He asked.
"If you could go get Fury and Hazel that'd be great, they should be done by now." Raven nodded and disappeared. Goth looked at Incubux.
"What've we got so far?" She asked.
"Your stuff, cereal, biscuits, milk, honey and chocolate."
"Chocolate?" Incubux nodded.
"To share. Desire, Sprinkle, Shino, Silver and Moonlight are upstairs." Goth nodded and left him in the kitchen.
The girls and Desire looked up as Goth entered the room.
"Onee-san!" Shino ran up and hugged her older sister, smiling.
"Were you getting food?" Silver asked. Goth nodded and picked up Shino.
"Raven's grabbing the last two. Have you seen PJ?" She asked.
"Drawing with Gradient," Sprinkle answered. "Come play with us." They were playing a board game they found in a forgotten cabinet. They didn't know what it was called, the name had long rubbed off, but they had fun randomly writing and drawing on the paper and timing themselves. PJ and Gradient usually loved the game but they didn't want to talk to anyone today.
"We're not talking about Ink's birthday are we?" Moonlight asked. Goth shook her head.
"We'll make Gray cry again," She said, sitting down and putting Shino on her lap. "How's Noah, Moon?" Moonlight looked worried all of a sudden.
"He's still coughing and weak. We're still not sure what's wrong with him." Goth patted her hand.
"He'll pull through like he does every time." She nodded.
"I know." NiXss ran in.
"Moon, Noah's coughing again," He said. Moonlight stood up, letting her paper fall to the floor, and ran out of the room.
"Poor Noah," Sprinkle whispered. "Poor Gray and PJ."
"Poor all of us," Goth said.
Blueprint huffed and puffed as she looked around the street, her brain still hazy with confusion.
"Gotta find Palette," She muttered. She ran along the street, ignoring the curious glances the citizens shot her as she went. "Gotta find Palette. Gotta find Palette," She muttered again.
"Need a lift?" A soft, laid back voice asked. She looked down an alleyway to see a boy with red and blue eyes standing in front of a girl with golden hair.
"Yeah, is everyone else back?" She asked. He nodded.
"Just picked Fury up. Come on everyone's waiting for you." The girl put a hand on his shoulder and the boy looked up. He saw Blueprint just before he disappeared, leaving the alleyway empty. Blueprint walked down into it, cautiously looking around for where they'd gone.
"How'd he..." She wondered.
"Hey, you." She jumped and turned around. The boy was back, staring at her with narrowed elyes. His tone wasn't laid back anymore. "Who are you and why were you listening to our conversation?" He asked. Blueprint took a few steps back.
"I-I-" She stammered. He stepped forward. She looked back. She was about to run into a wall.
"Who are you?" He asked again. Her back hit the wall.
"I-I-"She closed her eyes. "Leave me alone I just wanna find my brother!" She yelled. She froze in fear as she realised what she'd done. She slid down the wall and covered her face in her hands. "I'm sorry please don't hurt me." A hand fell on her knee and she flinched, opening her eyes. The boy knelt in front of her, looking concerned.
"Look, I'm sorry," He said. "I didn't mean to scare you." He smiled softly at her. "Hey, we're hlaving hot cocoa today. You wanna join us? Maybe we can help you find your brother." Blueprint nodded and smiled. "My name's Raven. What's your name?" He asked.
"Blueprint."
"Hey Raven, welcome back..." Goth trailed off as she noticed the smol blue-eyed girl behind him.
"Hey Gothy," Raven said. "This is Blueprint. I invited her for hot cocoa." Goth smiled.
"You scared her didn't you?"
"I-I- How'd you know?" Goth laughed.
"She looks like the kind of girl that's easily scared and you always get guilty when you scare someone." Raven groaned.
"Can she just stay for hot cocoa, please. I promised, plus she's looking for her brother. I thought we might help."
"You'll have to ask Incubux. You know how he feels about new people." Goth turned and left the room.
"I know." Raven sat on a couch and patted the space next to him. Blueprint sat down and smiled at him. "While we wait," Raven began. "Why don't you tell me what happened to I your brother."
"Well, it isn't just Palette that's missing," Blueprint said, smiling. "We went exploring with our friends from the orphanage. Loki, Bluescreen, Radier and Kenza went with us. I don't know where they are. I was just concentrated on finding Palette and I found myself in the town then I found you."
"What happened?"
"Well there was this chill and we all got scared. Laoki pretended he wasn't but he was. Palette told us to split up so we all ran. The last thing I remember is a guy in all purple but I don't know him."
"Who's this?" Incubux came from the kitchen, fgrowning. Blueprint folded into herself and stared at him. Raven stood up.
"This is Blueprint. I promised to help her," He said.
"She shouldn't be here," Incubux said.
"Legally, we shouldn't be here." Incubux hesitated.
"As long as she's out of here by nightfall." Raven nodded.
"Thanks."
Palette groaned as he sat up. He looked around. Not a single ray of light ignited the room. A hand touched his cheek. He looked around in the pitch darkness frantically for its owner.
"Sh, sh!" A female voice hushed. "Don't be afraid. I am not going to hurt you. How do you feel?"
"Like I've been hit with a bat," Palette answered. A laugh came from the voice.
"What's your name little one?" She asked.
"Palette," He answered. "My name is Palette."
"Well Palette, my name is Ink. It's nice to meet you."
