It was still a busy night in this record store.Well not typically busy there were some people here but not many.Me and my friend,Mandy were still in the place,flipping through the music records.Mandy was trying to find a certain album by a certain musician named "Prince".I've never heard of him but Mandy was pretty much obsessed with him.I was flipping through more records when I suddenly found his album.
The album was named "Prince".To me that was pretty self centered,but it was his album after all.I walked over to Mandy who was near the old school funk kind of section.
"Found it"I said holding up the album
"Yay! Thanks Sel"She said with clear excitement in her voice
We walked over to the counter where the store clerk was standing,clearly looking tired out of her mind.Mandy paid for her album.I didn't get an album surprisingly.We walked out into the cold night,it was super cold and uncomfortable.
"Oh my god he is so damn sexy"Mandy said looking at her album
"He's okay..."I said rolling my eyes.I really just assumed he was decent since I didn't really see his face on the album,I know it was on it but I didn't look.
"LOOK! Tell me he's okay"She said offended obviously and pushed his album in my face.
I took the album and pushed it back again.Wow.This boy was....pretty.I mean he looked beautiful...His hair was flawless and his face was like an angels.I was like falling in love with him just from a photo,but I soon came back to reality.
"Well before I hear his music,He's decent"I said
"Ugh! girl stoop we can go to my house and you can listen to him,Trust me he is so funky"She said excitedly
She grabbed my wrist and started walking down the street at a fast pace.Once we made it to her house I immediately saw her mom passed out on the couch with a lot of paperwork.Mandy took me upstairs and immediately put the new album in.
The first song came in and Mandy started dancing.I listened to his voice and was quickly impressed and a little turned on.I got up and started dancing with Mandy.
After many songs later I was hooked to this man.I was really surprised.I'm usually the person who isn't easily persuaded into things.Me and Mandy spent hours replaying the whole album.I glanced at the small clock on her wall and saw it was 3:49am.I panicked because my curfew was 9:15.
"I gotta go Mandy"I said quickly waving bye
"Wh-Okay see ya tomorrow"Mandy said waving
I quickly but quietly ran down the stairs and out of the house.I started running to my house which was 3 blocks away.I finally made it after about 15 minuets.
I quietly walked in from the house key I had and once I entered the house I saw my mom sitting in the corner chair with the light on while reading a magazine.
"Finally you're home"She said cheerfully while putting her magazine down.
"Mom I'm sorry okay me and Mandy we-"I was about to explain but she just pointed upstairs.I groaned and went upstairs.I sat in my bed and slowly went to sleep...
