The Ghost of Mystic Fall's Past

Lucy POV

Nik allowed me to go home back to Stefan and Damon. Tonight was Illumination Night one of my favorite nights in Mystic Falls. All the paper lanterns reminded me of fantasy.

I walked into town and looked around. I walk up to Damon who was standing beside Sherif Forbes helping set up for the night.

"Hello big brother." I said leaning against him.

He turned to look at me. "Glad to see you alive." He said.

"Yeah well, I'm not the person to die." I said giving him a smirk.

"What's been up with you?" I asked.

"Well Bonnie did this little spell to stop making people see ghost." Damon said.

"Ghost?" I asked.

"Yeah well let's just say Mason Lockwood is after me." Damon said.

"Like the one you killed?" I asked.

He nodded.

"I thought ghost can't cause physical harm? How can you even see him?" I asked.

"If anyone should have a foothold it should be him." Bonnie said.

I looked over at her. "Witchy is joining the conversation." Damon said.

"Fix it." I said. I was scared I would see Jeremy. If anyone had a foothold it would be him.

"No!" I heard someone say.

I turned around to see Elena. "God can't my brother and I have private conversation?" I asked.

Damon rolled his eyes. "I'm not getting into this teenage drama. See you at home Lucy." He said before walking away.

"Why can't she fix it?" I asked pointing to Bonnie.

"Maybe we can get Lexi and help Stefan." Elena said.

"I can try." Bonnie said.

"Absolutely not!" I yelled. "Nobody can help Stefan until he wants to help himself!" I yelled.

"Lexi did it before!" Elena yelled back.

"Lexi is dead!" I yelled. I felt sadness talking about my dead friend like this.

"That's why we could bring her back from the other side." Elena said more quietly.

"How do you know she is on the other side?" I asked.

"I'm just guessing." Elena said.

"Fine but you will get hurt again in the process." I said before leaving.

When I said that I was talking about her finding out I killed Jeremy. Of course she would hurt. She kinda trust me and I killed her brother.

I was laying on the couch watching The Blues Brothers. I was half asleep when I heard somebody. "Nice to see what you do after I'm gone."

I looked up and jumped from the couch.

"What's wrong. Looks like you've seen a ghost." Jeremy said to me.

"Jeremy..how?" I asked.

"Bonnie did a spell." He said.

"Look I'm sorry..."I said.

"I'm sure you are. Every girlfriend goes back to a hybrid dick after killing there boyfriend." Jeremy said before holding against the wall.
