"And I will never forget what you said, Nice try Mendes, see you later if that's destiny's plan. And you walked away. Four years later her we are, sitting in the backyard of your parent's Hampton's house. This is a story we'll tell our children." I'm thrown back, by his last comment. It isn't usual that the guy mentions wanting to have kids on the first night of being girlfriend and boyfriend. I'm okay with it, but it is weird. As for him actually remembering the Meet&Greet, I found it incredible romantic, I still think he remembered it was me, by some kind of cheating, but there's no way you remember everything that happened in that meet&greet with cheating. We'll talk about it later when we are away of the pool. First let's dive in the kids theme.

"Two things Mendes, one it's been 3½ years, not 4. And secondly, you want to have kids?"

"Too soon wasn't it?" He asks looking at me with guilty eyes, and I just laugh.

"Honestly you would've freaked out an ordinary girl. But lucky you, I'm no ordinary girl. I actually liked your comment. I found it really cute." I say grabbing his hand and smiling at him.

"That being said, I would love having kids. In the future obviously. You?"

"Yeah, I love kids and babies. How many do you wanna have?"

"I don't want you to freak you out."

"Oh come on! Tell me, I'm not gonna freak out I promise." Shawn looks at me and chuckles, he nods his head and tells me.

"Three or four."

"Now I'm gonna freak you out."

"Why? You want more?"

"Four or five."

"Really?"

"Yep, I grew up with three brothers and I loved it, and if I have kids I want them to have the same experience. Although if I suck at giving birth, we can narrow it took three or four."

"You'll be good at it."

"How can you tell?"

"I don't know. I don't even know if I was supposed to say that." He says laughing nervously and making me laugh. We keep talking about our families and how we dealed with our siblings. It was 3 and a half in the morning when we both started to feel the sleep in our eyes.

"I think we should call it a night." I say standing up and stretching myself.

"Yeah, I think so too. But first you gotta pay what you owe." Shawn says grabbing my wrist.

"And what do I owe you? May I ask."

"You promised to jump into the pool, if I won."

"Pfff.... You thought I was serious. I was just joking." I say laughing, letting go of Shawn's hand, and walking away. I then hear Shawn running behind me and then I feel a pair of strong arms circulating my waist.

"Na..ha.. We made a deal, who ever lost the bet was jumping into the pool." Shawn tells me in my ear, resting his head in my shoulder.

"Oh come on! You know how bets work. You never make your part of the deal."

"Well maybe that's how they do it here in New York, but in Canada we always make our part of the deal." Shawn tells me while he walks closer to the pool, dragging me with him.

"Don't do this to me, I know you cheated! So you didn't win fairly. And besides if I jump with my clothes on I'll get cold. And getting cold equals getting a cold. And you seriously don't want me getting sick, I'm like Sheldon. I become the worst human being. I- Ahhhh!!" I yell when I fell Shawn pushing me in the pool. Me being a human and having surviving skills, hold on to the first thing I see, that being Shawn. I hit the cold water, and then I swim up, I rub my eyes and see Shawn coming out as well. Once he is out he pushes his hair back and rubs his eyes as well. I swim towards him and I start splashing him with water.
