I look at the picture before me.

A man smiling back at me, the smile of the man I love.

The smile was the first thing that I notice when I first met you.

A new bakery opened. People comes in and sit down to eat some sweets and drink coffee.

I came inside, the heavenly aroma surrounds me.

A sweet vanilla, chocolate, and fresh baked bread fills my nostrils.

A growl came from my tummy.

I went in line and waited for my turn.

Soon it was my turn to order and now I stand in front of the counter.

I look down at my bag looking for my wallet.

When I found it I look up and saw a young man.

He was smiling brightly at me “Hello Ma'am, How may I help you today”.

For a few seconds I could not help but stare at him, mesmerized by his smile.

Finally noticing how ridiculous I was behaving, I laugh nervously and try to brush it off.

Butterflies flutter through my stomach and then goes up to my throat.

I cough a little.

Looking back at the man, I was expecting him to give me a strange look

but he just smile at me with his deep brown eyes.

Blushing I smile back and I quickly regain my composure.

These were the first words I said to you

“Can I have mocha latte and uhh..umm can you recommend something for me to go with my coffee?”

The man puts his hand on his chin and looks up to the right, thinking.

He then smiles at me “How about a marble cake?”

I blush again, he needs to stop smiling so wonderfully. Not trusting myself to speak and afraid I might do something stupid, I nod.

He gave my receipt, with a number, to me and then I went to sit down and wait for my order.

Minutes passed and my number has not been called yet. I only order one cake and a coffee, how long does it take?

I sigh, I hope the coffee and cake is good. My eyes went to look at the man at the counter again. I could not help but keep looking at him. I guess my order taking a while is not that bad, I can at least stay while he is here.

This time though he was not there, it was a girl. I frown upset, I sigh again looking down at my lap.

“Ma'am, I am sorry it's late” I tense up, It was the man's voice. I look up and saw him holding my coffee and my marble cake with an apologetic face.

I shook my head and stutter “It's … it's ok” and I laugh and smile awkwardly.

He puts my coffee right in front of me and the cake beside the coffee. I look at the setting in front of me and notice there was no fork, how will I eat the cake.

Slowly peering up at him

“Uhh umm...”.

Smiling at me he responds “Yes?”

I let a nervous laugh “Can I have a fork please”.

His eyes widen and he smacks his forehead lightly.

“Oh I am sorry, how stupid of me.”

His reaction was cute, I could not help but giggle.

He stares at me dumbfounded.
