Chapter 1

Maddison's POV:
Ugh, last year of high school. I mean, what could go wrong? I just have to study hard and stop getting included in any drama, I'll do fine this year.

I walked to the bus stop, feeling down.

"I can't believe I broke up with my boyfriend the day before the first day of school'' I muttered, rolling my eyes.

I arrived at school, slouching.

Rrringgg

Wow, class starting already. I walked into the classroom, sitting beside my best friend, Anett.

"HEYOOOOOOO, ANETTT! HOW'CHA DOINNN" I hollered.

Anett giggled, "As usual. HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA"

Anett and I talked for a while, before I turned around, scanning for any new cute boys in my class. Andddd... shit. Here comes a cute boy, a cute boy in my class. The first one in way too many years! As he turned around and met new friends, it seemed like slow motion, and that's when I knew - I'm attracted to him.

Class started, and he introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Roland Cabbalo. Nice to meet y'all.'' He said in the absolutely coolest way possible, and if no one noticed, my eyes literally turned into hearts.

I tried to keep myself calm, this was the ONLY guy who made my heart beat other than my ex. However, if he has a shitty personality, then BUH-BYE. As the class went on, I kept stealing glances at him, making sure he doesn't catch me staring as well. 

As the first class ended, there was a break.

"Yo, that new boy, Roland is kinda cute, right?" Anett said.

"Eh, he's not bad looking though, not my type." I said. I immediately shut up. Why would I say that? He is the cutest boy I have ever met, ugh. I think that's because I don't want Anett to know that I like him.
