River, a young girl all alone. No friends ,no family, only great dangers....
River lives in a small house out in the woods hidden from the rest of the world. She stays there all day and only leaves at night to find food and get the resources she needs. She does this alone. She goes out every night knowing she could possibly be killed by someone or something, but in order to survive she has to go.
One mysteriously quit night with only crickets chirping and water flowing in the distance. River was walking to the creek to get some water. It was quiet and peaceful no one around just her and nature.
She kneeled down with the bucket gripped in her hand and slowly put it in the water. She let the bucket fill up until it was half way full. She lifted the bucket out of the water and set it next to her. She rolled up her pants stuck her feat in and laid back on the rock. Her purple eyes gazed at the bright stars. Sometimes she didn't feel lonely. She had nature to keep her company.
Suddenly she heard ruffles in the bushes. Her body jerked up. She looked around into the dark nothingness of the forest. She didn't see anyone but just to be safe she picked up her bucket and headed home.
While walking back she had the sense that someone or something was following her. She started speeding up. Then she heard the sound of someone stepping on a branch. She started to swiftly run through the forest hoping to get away from whatever was chasing her. She ran and ran not stopping until finally she found alittle cave to hide in.
She sat there breathing heavily but trying to not to make any noise. A thousand thoughts were racing in her head. She was terrified. She started hearing quiet footsteps outside of the cave. Her heart was racing faster than ever before. Her mind was soaring with endless possibilities. She was worried something might happen.
Suddenly the footsteps started getting farther away. So far away that it was like it was gone. River slowly peaked her head out of the cave to see if it was gone. She looked around and nothing was there. She slowly got out of the cave and sprinted her way back home.
She got back to her little house not long afterwards. She didnt know what or who that was and she never wanted something like that to happen agian.
She tried to sleep and just forgot that it happened. She was tossing and turning all night, but eventually she finally fell asleep. But then suddenly waking up to thud near her house.
