Is that you?
Today I saw a man that looked like you
He looked so grim,
His appearance was blue,
I couldn’t believe what I saw,
But it was beginning to dim
I just couldn’t withdraw.
I chased after him as he sped away,
I thought it was you, I needed to say,
That I was lonely, maybe you could relate.
I yelled, “Please wait!”
But you wouldn’t stay.
I finally reached you,
But it wasnt a surprise,
When you disappeared,
As it wasn’t the first time.
I see you very often,
These past couple of days,
Though you don’t say much,
Its nice to see you again.
So why did you leave in the first place?
Why wouldn’t you stay?
Even in my hallucinations,
Daddy, you will always remain.
