Oh shit i'm a dead man. I just kissed Riley Matthews and Maya Hart was pissed. Maya pushes Lucas away while he smiles and gives me a thumbs up. I start to backup but Riley stops me and grabs my hand.

"Maya calm down, this was going to happen eventually."

She explained with a Quiet voice.

"Riley i know what boys want from girls most of the time."

Maya looks over to Lucas and wiggles her eyebrows.

"But i don't want you to get wrapped up in that. You have too much to look forward to than to be blinded by some guy."

"Peaches, i have liked Farkle for the longest time. Trust me, i won't mess this up."

My heart flutters at the fact that Riley Matthews likes me, and has liked me for a long time.

"I trust you Riles. It's you i don't trust."

Maya points her finger at me. Lucas comes up from behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.

"Oh don't worry about Farkle, he's a sweet kid."

Lucas talks in her ear. Maya doesn't take her eyes off of me and i was starting to get uncomfortable.

"Plus Maya, we're seventeen so i'm plenty old enough. You and Lucas have been doing the nasty but don't be worried about Farkle and i doing it i'm not ready."

Riley explains sweetly and i exhale deeply. I'm so glad Riley is not ready to do it because neither am i.

"I believe you Riley, and i trust Farkle, i just don't want us to grow up too fast."

Maya whimpers and melts into Lucas arms.

"This is a good thing peaches. Now we can go on double dates to the movies without having to sit awkwardly next to you two lovebirds."

Riley smiles sweetly and wraps her arms around my neck.

"I guess."

Maya pouts and Lucas picks her up bridial style. He walks closer to the edge of the lake and she yells.

"Lucas Friar i swear if you throw me in the goddamn lake i'll not have sex with you at all this week."

"We both know you can't resist me."

He winks and tosses her with ease into the surprisingly warm lake. A few seconds later he dives in and swims towards her. Maya emerges with her arms crossed in front abd death glare smeared across her face. Lucas grabs her face and plants a sweet, but long, kiss on her lips and she immediately smiles.

"See i know you can't resist me."

"How about we all go in and watch a movie."

Riley suggests and starts to walk out if the lake, pulling me with her. Lucas and Maya stay behind for a minute, than decide to start following us to the cabin.

Maya and i made a few batches of popcorn and hot cocoa for everyone too enjoy while we had the boys to pick the movie. They were in the living room sitting down on the couch while we brought a tray out with four mugs filed to the brim, and two bowls of popcorn. When they heard us walking in Farkle shot up from the couch and ran to cover the TV screen.

"We're not watching porn Lucas Friar."

Maya glares.

"I didn't pick out any porn, but i did pick a horror movie."

I feel myself shiver and break into a nervous sweat. I hate horror movies.

"Don't worry Riley, Farkle will protect you."

Lucas smiles and Farkle blushes, still standing in front of the TV.

"And don't worry huckleberry, i'll protect you."

Maya chuckles and goes to set the tray on the coffee table and sit down next to Lucas on the couch.

"So what did you guys pick?"

She ask as she pops a piece of popcorn into her mouth. I hold my breath anticipating when Farkle is going to move away from the screen.

When he finally steps away i feel the rest of my childhood die inside. There, in front of my eyes, was the new 2017 version of Stephen King's IT.

"Yes i have been waiting to see this for months. Come sit down Riley."

Maya says as she snuggles up into Lucas and Farkle pulls me over. They curl upin a tangle of legs and bare skin while i hug Farkle for my dear life. As they start the movie i bury my face in his sweatshirt abd he rubs his hand up and down my back.

"Riley it's OK, Bill is just helping Georgie with his boat."

Farkle reassures me and i shake my head.

"No Georgie dies within the ten minutes of the movie. Not to mention that we are four teenagers, all alone, in the middle of the woods, and not a decent place to go for help for miles if needed."

I argue and hold onto him tighter. I feel Farkle's body tense up at my touch and i smile to myself.

"Nothing is going to happen to us, right Maya."

Lucas words quiver and his voice cracks slightly. Maya is statimg at the TV, shoveling popcorn into her mouth, as she was completely invested in the movie.

"Yeah yeah yeah  we'll be fine. Pennywise isn"t real. Except he can shift into whatever your worst nightmare is."

I gasp and Farkle pulls the blanket tighter over us.

"Maya knock it off, you are scaring Riley."

Farkle says angrily and she slips him off.

"Back oft Farkle. Riley you're fine. We are already sharing a roomamd nothing is going to happen.

Maya leans over and grabs my hand at the part where Georgie meets pennywise in the sewer.

"I promise. I will never let anything happen to you."

Just than Pennywise reaches out and bites Georgie's hand off. I throw my hands up in the air as Lucas and i scream in unsion. Maha chuckles and stares at the horrifying image as Lucas pulls her back and cuddles up with her.

This is going to be a long night.
