"Hey wake up. You wake up hurry." I felt my body being pushed around, and began to open my eyes. I saw my tattered up clothes, and looked up to see a man, and woman in clothes just as torn, and dirty.
"What's going on? Are they coming? " I asked in a drowsy voice. The man nearly slapped his hand over my mouth. I guess I was right. I heard the door slam open. A man who looked as round as a ball walked in. He seemed to be out of breath merely trying to speak.
"You" He pointed his finger in my direction. I immediately stood up ready to be told my chores, but the only sound I heard was the crack of the whip slap against my cheek. I fell to my knees. I tried to keep my composure, but I felt the tears start to fall from my eyes. The obese man without giving it a second thought told me "Get up, and start moving the wood to the pile out on his porch. He said " If you step one inch towards my property other than putting the wood up. We will have a repeat of the last time you tried to touch my property."

I was next to dragged out to the large pile of lumber. When we got there the guard tossed me to the ground, before one of them spit on my back. I stood up to see a tall, and scrawny man with pale skin, and dark brown eyes staring at me. The chains around his neck seemed to be a lot less worn down than mine. I said to the man "Are you a new one?"

He checked around for guards, and then said. "Yeah, I am. What's your name? My names Darren.I started to open my lips when I heard the loud metal armor clanking back towards us. I shut my mouth, before grabbing the large piece of lumber, and carried it with him to the pile. The man mumbled under his breath.

Sometime passed, before the guard left his shift to go relax. "Darren, I don't have a name. I've been here since I was born." Darren, and I tossed the log into the pile, and proceed to walk back to the stack

While we walked he asked me "Well what's your dream? If you ever escaped this hell. What would you do? We began to grab the next log, as I pondered on the question.
"I'd want to have a family. You know people I could call my own.I'd also like to see something beautiful, because right now I'm not even sure what beauty is. Not even sure if it's real. " After I finished talking Darren, and I began to set the log. I noticed Darren started to drop his half. The log was going to crush his arm. I pulled him back, but the log began to fall off the stack, and came crashing to the floor. The thud of the log hitting the floor seemed to have echoed.
The lazy guard seemed to have ran over. Darren was standing back, but he looked exhausted leaning on a tree. Meanwhile I was trying to move the log back into the stack. As I was doing this I felt the whip smack against my back. I had to fight through the pain to get the log back up, and not drop it on myself. The guard laughed at me saying " Next time you should just let the log crush you, and not waste my time. Now get back to work peasants."

"Thank you. If that would have crushed my arm. I'd probably be put to death, so Thank you." Darren had a very serious face when saying this. Darren tapped my shoulder as we walk back to our hut. He continued "I have a plan to escape, do you want to join us." I thought that he had to be joking, but his face told a different story.

" Escape from this place, no. It's impossible. It won't work. I'll just be put back in that room. I'm not going back to that room, Darren." I noticed my body began to shake. Anything but that I thought.
Darren put his hand on my shoulder. "Do you want to live in this fear forever? Don't you want the chance to see beauty? Don't you want to know what the world has to offer? Think about it if you escape you'll never have to go to that room, and if we all die trying. At least we can say we didn't go out without a fight."

I asked him "In this hypothetical situation. How would we get out?" The smirk across Darren face started to show.

He put his hand on my shoulder "Well my nameless friend, they don't know what I really am." He notices the confused look on my face, and continued. "I'm a half breed werewolf. The only downside about only being part werewolf is I can only change on full moons. I'll slaughter the guards, and we can steal the boat on the dock. We can be free." Darren raised out his hand, and said "You just saved my life. Let me give you a start to yours. Even though the fear of that room was carved inside of me. I grabbed his hand.
