James' POV

His footsteps are loud, my head hurts from the newly formed soulmate connection and it pounds with ever single step he take. It's nerve wrecking because it wouldn't be such a surprise if he so happened to catch up with me. There's an obvious difference in our physical statures, him being the more physical one.

'Just a little more, come on James'

I force my feet to move faster as I pray Cassie is there waiting for me, preferably with the car on and ready to go.

'Fuck why is he catching up? Why can't he just go?'

"Thank you universe." Cassie's car is parked right where she dropped me off earlier.

I throw open the door and hop inside, my wig somehow finding its way to the floor and the tears are there and ready to fall. They wont though.

I run my hand through my hair and face away from my pasenger window.

"Please Cassie drive, right now, drive." Cassie proves that she's the ride or die I already knew she was and hauls ass out the parking lot.

Before we leave competely I look out the window, my eyes widen at the scene in front of me.

Grayson stands just around the corner standing tall, his eyes staring me down as I leave. Yet again I'm locked within the stupid trance, just looking into his eyes until I can't any longer.

"You look like shit." I drag my wide eyes away from the road and close them without a second thought. Inhaling deeply I try to find some type of purchase, a grounding point.

"Chris and Claudia exchanged saliva in front of me, I tripped and got juice all over my white dress, and straight Grayson Bailey Dolan is my soulmate." The car swerves but, I still don't open my eyes.

---------------------------------------------

I shove another big scoop of ice cream into my mouth as I look at another picture of Grayson Bailey freakin Dolan on my phone.

"Ok, but, what are the odds?" Drew exclaims as he looks at me in utter confusion and shock.

I mumble my answer quietly hoping I'm understood even with the hefty amount of ice cream shoved in my mouth.
"Odds of what...?"

My mind is a little preoccupied with the onslaught of emotions that won't give.

I met my soulmate yesterday
I ran away from said soulmate
Said soulmate is Grayson Dolan

How can a picture have such a huge effect on me? It's a recent photo taken yesterday, the day I found out Grayson was my soulmate. Woah.

He's looking into the camera with a single nacho held in his hand. A small smirk adorns his face and those freaking eyes are so detailed with the sunlight hitting them.

"Earth to fucking James Charles." Fingers snap me out of my thoughts and away from those hazel eyes.

"As I was saying, the dude you've had a crush on like, forever, is your soulmate!"

I roll my eyes at that,
"Oh, yeah, it's great that my soulmate is someone that doesn't want me."

"You don't know that."

I scoff before shoving another spoon full of ice cream into my mouth.
"Drew he was shocked when he saw that I was a guy. I wasn't what he was expecting nor was I what he wanted. I don't have breasts and whatever else females have."

Drew sighs as he gives me an exaggerated look,
"I admit he may have been, shocked, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want you. I mean you guys are soulmates!"
