The feeling of soft sand and a gentle breeze was what I woke up to. No yelling, no alarm, just calmness. I could feel a hand brush through my hair when I was finally waking up in this world, and I could hear a soft humming. I opened my eyes to see a girl above me. I guess My head was on her lap from what I was looking at.
"Oh, hello. I see you finally woke up." The girl smiles softly. She had long blond hair and purple eyes. She also had a beautiful face.
"Where.. Am I?" I asked, reaching up to hold my head. She stopped me from doing so.
"You're in a dream world.. You'll get more answers when your friends wake up. I'm Yang. You are?" She asked. Yang was a nice name. I liked it.
"I-I'm Izuku Midorya.. My friends call me Deku." I told her. She smiles and lets me sit up.
"Your name is cute. I like it. Your friends are over there." She motions to the left and I tried to look over. I saw Todoroki, Bakugo, Tokoyami, and some of my other classmates. Some were getting the same treatment, others were being watched. I was more worried about Tokoyami than the others. He didn't like to be out of his comfort zone.
"May I sit up..?" I asked, my face a bit red. She nods and lets me. Yang seemed pretty chill, even if that was how I was to wake up.
"Yang! Can you help me with this?" A male's voice called. I looked over to see a man in white clothing you'd see from medieval times.
"Be there in a second Ezio!" She calls as she stands. "Feel free to explore. Just wanted to make sure you woke up to something nice." She winks and walked away. I was unsure about exploring. I decided to walk over to Tokoyami to be there when he woke up. I didn't want him to be worried. When I reached his area, I noticed a man sitting beside him. He seemed to be nervous and curious at the same time. "Hello." I said. He jumps and looks up to me.
"H-huh? Oh, hello.. I'm Shuichi Siahara.. Is this your friend?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, his name is Tokoyami. He's really nice once you get to know him." I tried to give a reassuring smile. The boy seemed to only get more uneasy. "Oh, welcome to the Protector's Island. We are here because we go into the dream land and help protect people who are in need of a light in the darkness.." Shuichi told me. He didn't seem rude, just a bit nervous. "Protectors of what now?" I asked, tilting my head.
"He means fans of your world." A voice from beside me said. I jumped and looked over. There was a man in his late teens beside me with a.. "Is that a dragon?" I asked, pointing at it. He nods. "This is Toothless, I am Hiccup. What's your name?" He asked. "I'm Izuku Midorya, though I also go by Deku. I'm training to become a hero." He nods. "I'm trying to save dragons in my world." Hiccup explains. "I'm trying to find the mastermind and the blackened in mine.." Shuichi buts in. We both look to him. "Are you ok?" I asked. "No.. This is the only time I get to not worry about death." He explains. "Well, you should sit and wait for your friends, it shouldn't take that long.." Hiccup told me. "They may need someone to help them understand what is going on." When he finished his sentence, he walked away.
Protectors, huh.. So heroes for those who aren't doing ok? This sounds like a hard task, but I am up for it!
