Pathway 1 : Debut

Pathway Scenario: A ball is thrown to both celebrate and find you a suitor after your return from studying abroad. (No Stone Mask)

      Dio had already been living with the Joestars for a few months when you came around.

      A small knock came from the manor's front door. Dio almost stood up to answer it but then remembered it wasn't his job but the maid's. Sure enough a maid came running to answer the door.

      "Good afternoon. Sorry to bother but is Jonathan home?", a girl's voive asked. This peaked Dio's interest as the voice most certainly was not Erina's.

      "I'm sorry Miss y/n, but he's out to town with his father. However you're more than welcome to await his return. Lord Joestar should return in about an hour or so.", the maid responded. Dio secretly hoped the young girl would say yes to waiting. If she did, he too could get her to turn against Jojo as well.

      "I suppose I could wait. It isn't too long of a wait any way.", the girl's voice responded. The door closed and Dio heard you walking in.

      "If you'd like you may spend time with Master Dio. He's in the sitting room. I'll bring the two of you some sandwiches and lemonade.", this was already perfect. You were being led straight to Dio.

      You walked to the sitting room and sure enough there was Dio. He looked up from his book and your eyes met.

      "Hello, my name is Y/n Pendleton. Nice to meet your acquaintance.", you said softly with a little courtesy bow.

       "Dio Brando. Would you by any chance be Erina Pendleton's sister?", Dio asked.

      "No. Our fathers are brothers so in that case cousins.", you said taking a seat directly across from him. His eyes looked you up and down as if to determine if you were worth anything to him. No doubt he found you cute. He wasn't sure if you were in love with Jojo but he was going to find out.

      "You know, Jojo has a girlfriend.", he said to you waiting for a reaction. .

      "That's good! I'm happy for him!", there was genuine happiness in your voice. It was true you loved Jojo but as a brother. Dio would have to take a different approach with you.

      "Here you two are!", the maid said bringing in a tray with lemonade and little tes snacks. The both of you gave a thank you and went about yourselves again.

      "What are you reading?", you asked taking a sip of lemonade.

      "It's a murder mystery. Girls like you wouldn't be interested in such a novel.", Dio scoffed at your poor attempt at conversation.

      "Well I am but that's fine you don't have to tell me. I was going to go to the garden anyway. ", you shrugged at him and stood and began to walk towards the door.

      Dio was losing his opportunity is turning your loyalty towards him and not Jonathan. He had to act fast.

      "At least let me accompany you. There's quite the amount of bugs during this time of year.", he said hurrying to catch up with you. All you could do was smile.

      "I suppose you may be my protector.", giving a little giggle.

      For the next year you spent time with both Jojo and Dio. As time grew you would hang out with Dio one on one and the two of you became best friends. Eventually Dio forgot about his orginal intent and just enjoyed your company.

      But things would soon change as you would leave to the Asias along with Erina to study medicine.

      "I promise to visit you the second I come back!", you yelled to Dio from the ship's railing.
