it was about 01:30 in the morning, it was dark out. As i walked down the street it was almost silent apart from the distant sound of cars and the occasional group of drunken teenagers, other than that the world was at peace. then, i stopped, dead in my tracks. i looked up and there she was, her hair still styled perfectly, her green eyes as bright as the sun and her winged eyeliner lay upon her face beautifully. She reached up her hand to my face, i allowed her soft warm hand to cushion my cold cheek, i closed my eyes and she disappeared.

I was awoken from my daydream as the bell signified it was time for the next class. i arose from my seat taking my bag and my math book and i walked down the hall, i had a free period so i sat in front of my locker and pulled my phone out of my pocket. i saw my two friends Lauren and Alex walking towards me looking rather happy. as they approached me i caught the end of their conversation, it was about my missing best friend who i was in love with, her name was Taylor, she was the most beautiful girl i had ever met and she was also the most popular girl in school, she was my best friend although we didn't talk to each other anymore, i was still in love with her, not that i stood a chance in hell with going out with her, she was dating the captain of the football team, and she had practically every boy in school drooling over her. besides, she had her own friends, and they were inseparable. there was Shannon, she was drop dead gorgeous and didn't she know it, she had chocolate brown hair, and her makeup always perfect and on point, she was dating the quarterback. there was also charissa, she was a transfer student from England, everybody loved her, she was sweet and funny and totally gorgeous.
when my friends reached my locker they stopped with their conversation. "hey alfie" Lauren said as he sat next to me and gave me a rather awkward hug. Lauren was Alex's girlfriend and they were always together no matter what. "whatcha doing?" i looked up at Alex and then back at Lauren with a sad expression, " I'm trying to call Taylor" she smiled a sad smile and stood up "come on" i stood up after her "where are we going?" i said after a second "you'll see" and with that she grabbed mine and Alex's hand and dragged us outside.
