Cash

I had to get out of town. There's rumors speculating that I cheated on Riley. I did... I did at a show. Now there's pictures and I need Riley and I to stay low till it's gone and hushed. So I brought her to quiet nice hotel by the beach in California. She needs to get away and so do I. We need our quality time and I can't let her find out. Because I know if she does I'm going to lose her. She's working on her record label and putting an album out soon, I can't let anything bad happen to her. It'll kill me inside and I don't know what I will do if I lose her. I can't take it. I love her.

Riley and I are out by the pool, She's tanning and I'm relaxing.
"Hey baby" she sits up and looks at me.
I adjust myself and sit up too.
"What's up?"
"So why did we just take this sudden vacation?" I lick my lips and look at her.
"Because I love you and we deserve this..especially you" I put her hand in mine.
"You're not in trouble are you?"
"No"
"Okay, well I'm going to get in the pool and you should join me." she stands up and holds her hand out for me. I grab her hand and she yanks me to her side and pushes me in the pool.

"Ahh you bitch!" I laugh coming back up the water, she jumps in and comes up in front of me. I splash her and she swims away, me swimming after her.
"You gonna pay for that!" I laugh and I grab her she squeals and laughs.
"Oh my god Cash"
I look at her holding her by her shoulders
"I love you." I say being serious
"I know you do"
"Nah like I love you Riley, ain't nothing ever gonna change that. Please know that. I love you and I always will. Don't you forget it."
she smiles wide and kisses me.
"I love you too Cash. Forever."
I go to kiss her again and she splashes me in the face. She laughs.
"Pay back!" she yells and i shake my head smiling. 
"You okay too much and you gonna be in trouble" I chuckle
"Yeah yeah. Well I'm hungry so let's go get food."

We go back to the hotel and get dressed into normal clothes. I call my driver and he picks us up and takes us to downtown L.A. We hop out the car and walk around hand in hand.
I see a few paparazzi on the block and immediately duck try to protect Riley putting her behind me.
"Stay by me and put these on." I hand her my sunglasses, she takes them.
"What's going on?" she asks
"You think Papz in Cleveland is bad? L.A is way way worse.. we're gonna walk past a few so stay behind me and hold my hand tight."
"Okay." she holds me hand tight
"I love you baby, everything will be okay" I say bringer her hand up to my mouth to kiss it
"I love you too."

We get closer and closer to them and they spot me running up already snapping pics.
"here we go.." I say to myself. The paparazzi get close to me and it's 10 guys circling us snapping pics and yelling.

"Cash when's the next album?"
"Riley, Cash! Can we get an interview?!"
"Cash are you going drop a single?"
"Are you really from Cleveland Ohio!"
"An insider saw this and we have questions.."

They try to reach out and touch me and her but I push them away and say fuck off. Finally they do and I look behind at Riley who's comes back to my side.
"Are you okay?" I stop ask do I can look at her.
"Yeah, it was just..."
"Nerve racking?"
"Yeah."
"Just keep breathing. I love you." I pull her into my arms and hold her tight. I never want anything bad to happen to her. I never want to see her hurt. I hate seeing her upset.
"I love you too Cash, It'll be okay. Are you okay?" she asks looking to my eyes caressing my cheek.
"I'm okay baby" I smile lying to myself
"Good" she takes my hand and we walk down Hollywood Boulevard.
